Marks and Spencer

I love this place as my mother did. Been buying school clothes, food etc since the early 70s. The staff greet too as they pass in Burnley. Offer help if I need a delivery of items. Food is always being introduced to tempt you and Christmas shopping. Well, that's a whole new post 😂

I booked a Bra Fitting appointment online with my local store (Burnley). The process was so easy to follow, and I received confirmation email and a reminder email the day before appointment.

To be honest, after booking I felt very apprehensive about the fitting, as I didn't really know what to expect. So on arrival at the Burnley store in the lingerie department, I looked through their selection of bras I liked, picked a couple up to take for the fitting to show the assistant what I was looking for, totally unaware of my actual size.

The assistants name was Denise, and she was so friendly, helpful and exceptionally professional in the service she provided from start to finish.

For those of you who have either never had a bra fitting done before, it was so easy and not embarrassing at all. Denise took me to a changing room, told me to just take my top off, but leave my own bra on, when ready to let her know.

She then came into my cubicle, closed the curtain again (respecting my dignity at all times) asking me about my preferences regarding styles ie. Wired, support, t shirt bras etc. She went into the department and brought me a range of bras in my correct size to try. Every time she left the cubicle while I changed.

After trying on several options, I decided to buy 2 different styles of bra, as they were both very comfortable and could not choose between them.

So, my overall opinion about my experience today was EXCELLENT and is an absolute MUST from now on. A proper fitting bra makes such a difference to the look of my outfits, and I am so pleased I went ahead and did it.

Thank you Denise, you did an amazing job and have no hesitation in recommending you and the service you provided for me today. You are a credit to M & S and especially to the Burnley Store.

Called by for a couple of items pleased with our choices, Also bought some salad items, these too made a wonderful afternoon tea.

Love shopping with M&S. I have so many favourites in the food Isles that I prefer not to buy anywhere else.

Food Hall visit to get a small shop, a few grocery item's & my favourite chocolate chip shortbread thick cookies from the bakery section. 🤩

Always good to go for a wee or a poo in here. Food section is excellent.

As always and expect there is a good selection to choose from. You know it is going to be good the quality is essential, you see something new and say " I'll try that, because you have a good idea you are going to really like it.

Great food outlet and clothing. Staff always helpful and friendly. Can't argue with prices.

Nice Xmas bags in ❤❤❤❤but why has mark's stopped selling purses I loved them

They stock what we like to buy, pity the prices still increasing, wonder why when the government says inflation is dropping?

I had purchased some items in the Manchester store and also ordered some items and there was a problem. I contacted M&S by phone and found it very difficult trying to explain on the phone to the staff member because he didn't speak clear English. The problem was still not solved so I went to the Burnley store where Lynn Norma and the manager could not have been more helpful. Thank you so much.

Again a nice varied shopping clothes and groceries two floors too.

Its M&S doesn't really need me to say how good it is.
