Boots

Was in the store and as there was no bus services nearby I decided to cal a taxi to get into the city. As I was only on holidays in the area I did not know of any taxi numbers. I asked a lovely lady at the counter who gave me two contact numbers. Staff like this are rare and hard to find but she made my visit pleasant.

Today, I went into Boots looking for a specific type of cream in the pharmacy section of the store. I was helped by a friendly, helpful and empathetic lady named Sarah. She took initiative, approached me as I stood waiting to be assisted. Sarah is so helpful and quickly built a rapport with me. She showed interest and pointed out several options to solve my health issue.
About a month ago, I also went in for a different issue for which Sarah advised me. Thank you Sarah! Overall, my experience visiting this store have been positive, but she stands out above the rest.

Came to boots pharmacy last week to ask some advice at the counter. I was greeted by sophie who went above and beyond to help me she was fast and efficient but had some great medical advice which led to me purchasing a product that has really helped whilst providing service with a smile, a real asset to your team

Sophie from the Pharmacy department is incredibly hardworking and professional, in fact all the pharmacy staff work very hard and do an amazing job. Yes the pharmacy is always busy but at the end of the day it’s not their fault and they do an amazing job in a stressful setting.

The staff are very helpful. Thank you for that. The boots aqueous cream B.P is amazing. It does exactly what it claims.

I left something at the till point yesterday and in a rush had picked up the wrong foundation, a staff member today could not have been more helpful and kind, brilliant

Trekked across town for 8am, as they had stock I'd been searching for. To note - currently they open at 9am on a Saturday!!! Thankfully there are a number of other stores around while i waited until 9...
The 5 stars are directed at the lovely ladies on the pharmacy counter, who were helpful and friendly, and more than made up for the confusion over opening times!!

The store was nice and tidy. They had everything I needed. Their main tills are now updated to self checkout only, but you have a member of staff manning them.
Most of their Christmas stock is out on the shelves at the back of the store.

What can you say? It's Boots.
Always good value for money.
Pros:
Friendly, helpful, polite staff.
Swift checkout. Clean, well-kept.
Always well stocked.
Cons: only 2 parent and child spaces in the whole car park (not really Boots' fault, just a heads up, parents).
Avoid the pharmacy counter on Tuesday & Thursday evenings - always, busy/long queues (a national shortage of pharmacists will do that, though).

Excellent service received at this store and especially at the pharmacy. I recently priced a private prescription and the member of staff (Louise) was extremely helpful and professional in ordering the items. I priced at the nearby supermarket and there was a noticeable difference in the professional service. I didn’t hesitate to go back to Boots to place the order and it turned out to be cheaper! This store is extremely busy and the staff are always rushed off their feet at busy times but always offer a friendly and accurate service that I can’t fault. Absolutely amazing shop. The Pharmacy team are just phenomenal, they are so helpful and friendly, expecially David, he always greets me by my name and that means a lot, I'm treated like a person not just a customer. I travel nearly 10 miles and pass around 5 pharmacies just to use this store.

Mostly use the Pharmacy. They are second to none.
Firstly, they are open late with the shop. But then, even when shop is closed, they have a service hatch.
I really have to take my hat off to the pharmacists.
When I have had questions about my prescribed medication, or when unsure about over the counter products & how they may impact the others, they have gone out of their way to give me the RIGHT answer.
Just recently, I had a new prescription for something that seemed contra to the Warfarin I take. There were other considerations too.
Despite the busy counter and staff wanting her attention, she had to look up and double check advice.
She did while remaining calm and professional. If I had been in her shoes I'd have either told those trying to get her attention to go away, impolitely, or me to call back when shop quieter.

All the pharmacists work to the same high standards. Polite, professional and often going the extra mile, without appearing stressed.

A big thank you to them all, I really appreciate all they do.

They don’t mind you walking in with your dog.
I carried Buddy in to pick up a prescription. Then stood and waited in a queue with him on the floor.
We walked out as normal.
No one bettered an eye lid. And the security man was calling buddy snoop as we left. Happy days.
More retail stores need to be like this.
They all need to take a leave of of Wilko’s book.

I could find here what I couldn't find in other Boots stores near me. You can check the stock of the items you want to buy online before you make a trip. Clean and well kept, large selection of items, children clothes and a pharmacy too. A couple of parent and children parking spaces outside.

Convenient location and friendly staff, just long queues at times for the pharmacy.

I went in to buy some more make up from the no 7 counter as mine had run out...the ladies that helped me were so nice...one lady even helped me pick out a colour match foundation without matching it and got it perfect!!! So happy...and I got 3 items for the price of 2...Happy days!!

No fake products in here. A fast service with medication in stock not ordered after the prescription is handed in. Staff are very helpful and efficient and a large free car park.

Pharmacy always very busy but staff will serve you as quick as they can, with a smile!

I went in to get a slim hot brush but ther was not one there so I ask a member of staff who was very helpful an ordered one for me staff do not always get praise so I am pleased to be able to send you my thanks 😀 j waite
