Excellent service from the girl on the Valspar mixing counter. Very helpful in knowledge of choosing which colours to go for, unfortunately didn’t get her name but worth her weight in gold. Thanks you. (Visited Monday 12th February evening)

Had a kitchen, great price, discounted in the January sales, had a few problems with wrong size doors and tall units, the kitchen team managed to sort ok up until I had to have some of the doors sent to me on carrier . Parcelforce to be exact. Only delivered 1 of 2 parcels and the other got delivered 0.2 miles away two days later!!! Parcelforce were unable to sort this out within 2 weeks so I when back to my store in Osmaston. I asked for the kitchen manager who was not there but the store manager was. I kindly asked if they were free and able to talk to me . Within 1 minute Matt the store manager was standing in front of me asking what he could do to help. I advised him of my problem and my disappointment with Parcelforce because it’s not been able to find my missing parcel. Without hesitation, Matt went straight to the computer, ordered me my correct items, booked them out free of charge and got them sent to my work address. B&Q need a lot more people like Matt with his understanding and professionalism for the error that’s been made.

The store is loaded with a lot of DIY products and tools, most are easy to fix and some you can get installers to help. This helps the do-it-yourself culture to manifest within.

Very helpful staff when purchasing new kitchen cupboards etc. Found the store itself rather cold though.

Big shout out to Zack who helped me move my wooden flooring on to my van! Thank you mate - you need more employees like this!!

Best b&q in my opinion has best range of every product and usually has 98% of things in stock staff are also very helpful

Normally no staff on hand willing to help on my previous visits. However yesterday was different a pleasant experience great customer service. Ishaq Khan, working in the kitchen department was very helpful. The young man helped me choose the items I needed by advising and giving the relevant information I needed.

Very clean, bright and presentable store with all the useful signage to help locate what i needed and staff on hand to ask questions

Tills were quick and and staff on hand to help if you used self scan tills, which i dod do for my one item

Plenty of parking and a burger van and sainburys close by

It was my first time to shop in this place. I was impressed by the fact that the shop opens at 7am. I was able to buy some dehumidifiers before reporting to working. There is also plenty of parking spaces. The entrance is also wheelchair friendly. The shop is well arranged and clean.

Love a trip round B&Q,irs like my second home. I pretty much go everytime I visit my son as I always end up doing a little job fo him. Normally I'll make a trip per week back home in Teesside, always after something.

I went to fetch paint today and the lovely Katrina (I believe it was) was amazing. She was busy, but dropped everything to help us. Nothing was too much trouble and we left with everything we needed, not having a clue. Thank you for you lovely friendly attitude, really helpful x

Fabulous. Beautiful Christmas trees at £5 each!! Can't go wrong. Team members were really helpful in getting my trees netted and sorting me at the till.

Does everyone else just love b&q or is it just me? Plus this one has a burger van outside most of the time which is legendary.... You know I'm not even sure if Google has got me going to b&q or the burger van outside on the date it asked for the review... Anyway love to all.

Google asked me to update my review. I have bought a ton of stuff as I'm doing up a house. If I'm being brutally honest the prices are higher than toolstation most of the time. I wish the trade department had instant discount and then bigger discount if you spend more. Got to say the staff are really friendly and seem pretty happy. They all need pay rises ;)

Well I have never had better customer service then I did from a lovely lady called Charlotte yesterday who works on the paint department. She helped me with the purchase of numerous items for a home project. The knowledge of products and of the store was brilliant. I was very impressed. Thank you
