Great place! Amazing staff! Everyone is very helpful! Huge variety of products sold there from alcohol to groceries as well as household items and fresh flowers and newspapers etc.

Brilliant off licence with a great selection of beers from around the world, which is the main reason I go there.

I have used Gals wine for many, many a year and it mist definitely is the best of the best . The selection of drinks is phenomenal and the service I'd always friendly helpful and will carry boxes and bags to your car all with a smile and you also van up flowers, greeting cards sweets groceries all items under one roof its well laid out and plenty of people working to serve and help customers in any way . A real Gem of Wanstead .

Best shop ever.

Love Gaks, friendly smiley family run business which bends over backwards to accommodate the stock you wish them to sell. The great selection of beers and wines are always super cold. They try to match the big supermarket prices as best the can and in any case I still spend less in there (than in the bigger chains) because I don't fall for all the silly offers. Great selection of everything you could need with lovely service and great hours. Very lucky to have them on our street. Thank you Gaks.

Brilliant place , very friendly guys , they have a huge stock of wines.. I always go here. Update from my old review below , these guys still going strong , helping us all out during covid, even more stock to choose from and at near supermarket prices, thanks guys.

My go-to convenience store. The people are great and they're always so well stocked, particularly during the difficult weeks during lockdown. Thank you Gaks. :-)

Known the twins from here for over 30 years. The only business on that strip still going and still improving . I now live nearly 4hrs away but always look forward to visiting and popping in for drinks, snack etc. They keep expanding and its clearly working for the community!

This place is great! A good choice of alcohol, food and non-alcoholic drinks and they can provide for all income types. Best of license/corner shop I have ever gone to!

Gaks is always stocked full of food/drink. I have been going here since I was 10 and they are always so friendly and helpful towards everyone.

Just got my bottle of alcohol arrived in perfect condition and even though it was aa tad expensive im very happy as they dont make blue raspberry zamaretto anymore :)
