ALDI

Shop at the Lewes branch every week. Superb staff. Always willing to help and very friendly. Great products and range. Found everything that we needed for a weeks worth of meals.

Better prices than Tesco next door. It pays to shop around these days. Easy parking and a great historical town.

Good sized store, albeit, not the largest. Nice range of products and items are well priced. Very friendly staff, which is more than can be said at other discount retailers.

Great store , perfect size to zip around , messy middle section and stock piled so high on shelves around the store I could just about reach ( I’m 6ft ! ) .
Friendly staff and tidy car park , shame never any toilets ! .

Very good store. Nice bit was as soon as a que developed they opened a till but they closed them just as quickly as soon as the queues went down.....modern supermarket efficiency, great as long as the staff are properly rewarded!
Variety of goods is not wide but what there is is well priced and certainly lower then the likes of Sainsburys.
Centre isle bargains like Lidl but somehow they looked more solid and reliable, strange...
Meat is prepacked, but the Beef steak is hung to 30 plus days and is not overpriced.
Veg looked good and was cheap.
All in all a very good place for a family main shop However you will need another shop elsewhere to pick up the bits they don't stock!
Sept 2023 update. still the cheapest supermarket with better quality in my opinion. Prices have crept up though. The government says inflation was around 10% at times this year, strange as many supermarket prices for some items have doubled in a year even in Aldi !

Still very good value and great quality.
I can't get everything I need there but most of it and it definitely costs less than Tesco for a good many things. The staff are friendly and helpful. I'm glad I have an Aldi near me.

It's one of the better Aldi's, but there again there aren't many others in the area. It remains...Aldi.

This shop is brilliant and saves me a fourtune. I drive from haywards heath and it still saves me so much money. I never have to queue either and there is always plenty of car parking space. The staff are really friendly too

I lost my purse a week ago, couldn’t find it anywhere. I checked my cards had not been used before I cancelled them. I was in Aldi again a couple of days ago & asked if by chance I had dropped it in the store.
The nice young man manager asked what colour it was and what is my name. He went & found it in the store room! It was intact and the £12 cash was still in it. Well done Aldi!!!

Fantastic shopping experience. This branch of Aldi is 20 miles from my home but I'll gladly drive that far for a far better shopping experience than most other places. Now, I did get there at around 08:30 on a Saturday morning so I don't know how this compares with other times of day but I found it to be easy, quick and hassle free. I can't remember being able to check out quicker anywhere else.

The range of products is superb and the prices are as competitive as anywhere. Parking is a doddle with plenty of space.

JUST REMEMBER TO HAVE A POUND COIN HANDY IF YOU INTEND TO USE A TROLLEY.

Clean, well stocked and importantly, staff are so very friendly and have time for you, unlike another similar supermarket beginning with L and ending in E !

Spent 67 pounds and got a good third more than if I'd gone to sainsburys! Unfortunately I need someone with transport to take me! Aldi's food is just as good too.

Full marks for being great at what it sets out to be. The staff are jolly helpful, and every visit is a lesson in product design as one marvels at how closely the company's own-brand product packaging resembles brands from other companies. Nearly all prices (except, strangely, an external beer brand) staying low. In Sussex, at least, local newspapers start the week by publishing the "special buys", found in the central aisle. It is likely these are some of their best-read articles. Additionally, over time, the quality of produce seems to be increasing
