Beware!! If using Uber eats for “convenience” (I have a sprained ankle and can’t drive or walk), you’ll be charged 5 times the price for the items and then not receive them all! If you call… they don’t pick up.

Very poor experience.

On my way to work, i went to grab an energy drink to kick-start my day and was dissatisfied when i found that they had not been refrigerated over night.
I went to grab one but then realised it was warm to the touch and decided to not get it. After this, i was met with the manager who mumbled to come to the front of the store.
To my surprise, i was ACCUSED of stealing a 30p energy drink which i had apparently 'placed in my coat', even though i had my cash in my hand, ready to pay for a pasty that i had just picked up.
To my dismay, he took me to the front of the store, where all the customers were waiting to be served as it was around 8:10am on Tuesday 8th January, and told me to watch back the CCTV of me NOT stealing an energy drink.
After this embarrassment, he did not apologise for the inconvenience and made me late for work, as well as humiliated!
This is a disgusting way to treat your customers and i was very wrongly accused!
However, what i would recommenced is to take a short 2 minute walk to the Premier shop which is around the corner and has great, professional customer service, unlike this poor establishment.

the people who run it are not very nice people

Always on their phone when they serve you. So have to ask repeatedly what it is you're after even though you've told them 2 or 3 times as they're blatantly not listening to you. Only use them for work purchases as it's the closest shop, however I feel it's so rude to do this whilst serving customers.
