Homebase - Harlow

Went on a Monday and Homebase was quiet.
They stock huge range of items plants for inside and out, gargening, home DIY and flooring just to mention a few.
The item I was after had been moved as setting up for Christmas so ask and the gentleman was ever so helpful, walked the length of the shop with me to found the item was not to be in stock for the colour I was after but he explained that I could check prior to coming or order to my home or to store.
If you need anything for the home it worth a visit and we don't want to lose it like the Chelmsford store, now gone.

Apart from frequent traffic delays on the main access road, once you arrive, there is plenty of parking.

The very large store holds all the usual items plus a range of additional products to help your DIY projects.

There is also a large outdoor/indoor gardening area with a large selection of flowers and plants.

It also features associated products such as stones, pots, fencing, etc.

Wide aisles make for convenient browsing, and there are always knowledgeable staff to direct and advise you.

Look out for the special offers that are frequently changed.

Very big store with friendly helpful staff. Only fault I have is their solar lights are always faulty so don't buy them from homebase. Go to the pound shop for solar lights (that's where my neighbours went and their lights are bright every night, where as mine don't work at all) :-(

Was surprised at how big the store was. I drove all way there to get 2 boxes of white tiles as were on offer buy one get other half price. Also was half price on flower pots so get 2 for half price.

Staff are always friendly and helpful, very present and knowledgeable! Huge bonus that our dog is welcome in the store as she has very important opinions to give on our DIY choices!

Very sizeable store with all the usual DIY, building, decorating and gardening items at reasonable prices. Always found staff to be cheerful and helpful. Large free car park immediately alongside however if tempted to browse in close by Dunelm and maybe call in their café for refreshments, note free parking is restricted to 3 hours and if you forget anything no return within two hours applies.

Bought birdbath £30. Cheaper than anywhere else for same item.

They generally always have what I'm looking for from DIY to houseplants, although it's always worth checking if it's in stock on their website.

I came here to purchase bathroom suites from Bathstore inside this Homebase branch. I just wanted to thank and highly recommend Janos. He was extremely helpful, polite and patient in attending our needs. Very hard to find customer service like this nowadays!

Needed some Really Useful Boxes, Homebase had them all in stock and at a decent price as well. I really didn't want to get these online due to the issues of high shipping cost and transit damage. Homebase had piles of them, all in good order.

Just wanted to say Thank You to Keith. He was amazing. I don't normally like DIY shops. I walked in with my wife to ask about paints and decorating tools. He was genuinely friendly , offered great advice, knew the products and made an effort to stay with us until we finished our purchases. I would hire this wonderfull employee in as heart beat. Phoned up to enquire whether a rattan garden set was available the man I spoke to Lee was so helpful said they had just had some delivered and to come to store on arriving I asked for Lee who quickly came and I managed to get the garden furniture I had long been waiting for very good customer service very impressed thankyou. All staff are very friendly and professional.

Great shop, massive warehouse, stocks everything you could possibly want for DIY. Great selection of everything on offer from taps to tiles. Helpful and friendly staff, even has a little play area to drop the wife and kids off at while I shop for for house bits. Would definitely recommend.

Recently purchased a Keter Storage.. have been shielding so had to get a family member to collect (palavers) and fit. On fitting the back panel was damaged. Contacted store and spoke to floor manager Dan.
What can I say... helpful, prompt and dealt with my issue. He contacted warehouse and located replacement panels and called me back within minuets. Great Service.

I was pleased with my visit here today. It's a large store and has an extensive range of DIY products including an excellent range of paints such as Farrow and Ball and a large stock of wood stains such as Sadolin. Lots of tools, ladders, garden equipment and so on. The whole place was clean and tidy and not like some similar stores that look cluttered and shambolic. I will of course make this a store to visit regularly.
