I recently bought a Richmond chest of drawers and two bedside cabinets from the Emporium, Maldon, and I would like to say how impressed I am with their goods and service. The price was very good (after much research elsewhere) the staff were very helpful, efficient and friendly when helping me with measurements, delivery etc. And although the goods are delivered to the shop in flat pack, they assembled it and delivered it ready made up. The delivery charge was just £2 which included putting the furniture in the exact place that I wanted it. The delivery men too were excellent. Deserve more than 5 stars.

Didn't visit the Emporium itself but the greengrocers at the back is FANTASTIC. Dan is so friendly and the fruit is to die for. Best strawberries I've had in years.

Such a lovely shop. The staff are friendly and chatty and the stuff they stock, you have run of the mill and then you have quirky, different stuff you can't get anywhere else. Garden, animal, household, bohemian, D.I.Y, it's all there. I can't go to the high street and not pop in. It's the go to shop.

They are so friendly and helpful in there. Cant believe how much variety they have in there. Bought things from there garden centre and green grocer too. Big sack of spuds and veg all home grown. He delivered thrm to me for free as I cant drive at the moment. Highly recommend.

I love this shop. It has a wide range of goods, some unusual, and also a section on garden things, and plants out back.

I ordered the 'Country Life Walk' glass chopping board which arrived, very well packed, in a couple of days. It was to replace a very old, built-in, one fitted in a frame in a kitchen unit. I needed a board with large rounded corners to fit in the frame.
This one was absolutely perfect, and everyone who sees it in the kitchen admires it.
Excellent service from The Emporium - will not hesitate to use again.

Wonderful shop. Keen to support it, as it's great to have independent retailers like this one on any high street.

Excellent friendly service from Richard when I ordered over the telephone. The lady mantle clock I ordered is lovely and was sent to me free of charge for next day delivery. Can't get better service than that. Would definitely use The Emporium Direct again without hesitation.

Super little store selling everything you need and stuff you don't! Staff are lovely, too. You can get tea towels and dog food, food storage and fertiliser. You get the idea.

Called in today and was served by two very helpful ladies. This shop is always interesting to visit and I always find something to buy .Its a real Aladdin's cave.Well worth a visit

Very good and can get just about anything I need the staff are very helpful and friendly it is a little bit tight for my wheelchair but anything I want to see they always give me a hand with so can recommend it to anyone

Great shop so many different section for different things ranging from ornaments candles cushions kitchen ware bags sweets seeds bulbs gardening cleaning home and they best pet items lovely friendly staff and just they most beautiful items and reasonable priced

I've been coming to the Emporium for many years. I love their variety and small business feel. I always come here for my perennials and dog food. The staff are lovely and always welcoming.
