Grape Tree Tunbridge Wells

Went into Grape Tree looking for something in particular and asked a member of staff who took me there straight away. Brilliant customer service all round! A really nice selection of products as well, would really recommend shopping here!

Bought edamame beans and seaweed peanut crackers both just what I was looking for. You can also join loyalty card for free. I will go back for more, staff are friendly and helpful.

Very friendly helpful staff and found steel cut oats and wheat germ easily which I had been searching for in other shops. Good prices

Went Ok. Friendly staff. I’d like your Bombay Mix to be spicier. You should stock large oars and nibbled oats.

Visited here on Thursday 2nd June. I really like this little shop so it was a disappointment to find the 2 staff members, one of which was sat on something drinking and didn’t get up until another women entered and neither women acknowledged any of us.

The 2 ladies were too busy talking about another employee, moaning that this “younger”woman didn’t seem to do enough hours or that she didn’t do “lates” , and another new starter who also didn’t work enough hours. Moaning the whole time we were in the shop.
We got all this drivel whilst looking for a couple of items to purchase. Neither one of them asked if they could help.

We found the Apple Cider Vinegar without much difficulty but couldn’t find the other item we needed. So we went to the counter with the bottle of vinegar and my husband asked the white haired lady (who was serving) if they stocked “Bone Broth”? The woman just said in a blunt tone “NO” he felt like he was interrupting their chat!
She made no eye contact or attempt to help at all. She acted like we had interrupted her very busy day, with a look of distain on her face.

We always come here before going to H&B because we’ve usually had good service and the stock is generally better value.
We went to H&B after here and got the Bone Broth with fantastic service from the lady who served us there. So with regret we will be using them from now on.
Shame, as we prefer to shop at more independent or smaller stores.

Just wish they would make things in less plastic packaging… and make choc covered nuts without dairy milk

I arrived at Grape Tree Tunbridge Wells today at approximately 2.15pm, to be greeted by a note on the door saying 'on break'. Whilst I fully understand the need for somebody to take a break, a little more information would have helped, explaining when the shop would reopen. How is anyone meant to know whether you are going to reopen in 5 minutes, 20 minutes or an hour.......? The High Street is in decline and actions like this really do not help..... It makes me feel like ordering online next time.

Poor costumer service .
I usually by some bits there every 2 weeks ,products are amazing ,good deals too & so thankful for the nhs discount.
But a let down from the staff , no sympathy no cordiality.Looking for buying online instead & save the hassle.

What a disappointment.....I never faced so poor customer service ....I don't even understand why that kind of people work in hospitality at all....Came today with my daughter to try to find a certain tea and there was an old man with his pushchair struggling to get out of the shop....my daughter open it for him and we went inside and I ask a girl working there for that certain kind a tea but she with a face like ''why you bothering me '''told me all what we got is on the shelves and then she continue tipping in her till or phone or whatsoever and me investigating all sort of tea hardly reading without my glasses on the end couldn't resist anymore to stay in the shop and left......nobody told us even good buy....what a shame ............
