Getting People Growing

Although my first order seemed to go completely astray, eventually I got an explanation (IT disasters) and an apology and the gift did arrive safely if a little late. Since then I have ordered myself a growing kit and it arrived promptly as promised. I haven't set it up yet since this time of year is insanely busy but I am looking forward to my sprouting harvest. I know my daughter is having fun trying out different seeds and feeding her family all the goodness in the micro-greens.

Microgreens kit came well packaged with everything required in one box. Instructions very easy to understand, well explained and came with little diagrams to add to text. Just done my first planting which was surprisingly easy and am looking forward to Xmas day when I should be sampling the first crop. Those like me previously somewhat ambivalent towards “growing my own” am now completely converted and anticipating trialling many other seeds.

I'm delighted with my Getting People Growing subscription - the starter kit was amazing and it was so easy to start growing, and it's really nice to have a regular top-up kit delivered without having to think about ordering. The microgreens grow really easily and produce a very healthy crop - I have fresh greens every day and there are no failures. I've even managed to grow them in a cold kitchen during a UK winter! Can't recommend enough :)

Well designed kit. I’ve not started growing yet as I’ve had visitors at Xmas. It looking forward to soon. There was an issue with a broken tray but this got sorted out very quickly. Very impressed so far.

I love my microgreens. In fact, ive just bought a kit for my student daughter, because she's missing them so much wholst away.
I love them in a salad, or just mixed in with some olives and tomatoes for a snack. But I pretty much snip them onto anything I'm serving up to sneak extra nutrients into my teenagers!
It's so simple, and clean enough to prep the 'soil' and seeds in the kitchen. A week later you have fresh greens in your kitchen! Brilliant!

So easy to do, I'm on my second crop. Tasty and make a nice addition to salads and sandwiches. I have bought a kit for a friend and would recommend this to everyone I know

Had a panic because it didn't turn up - turns out the address reset when I had to change my payment method. Getting people growing really went above and beyond to get order to me in time for Christmas - and the recipient loved it!

This was the first time I tried to grow anything from home and I was amazed at how easy it was. It came with everything I needed and was really straight forward to follow the guide the give you with it although It would be good if they had a video showing you how to do it too. All in all, I throughly recommend for both taste and enjoyment. I've just subscribed to monthly refills!

When I wanted to start growing microgreens, I looked around at the different kits available. I liked the look of this one as I wanted some attractive trays for the window cill and it was good value for the number of grows in the kit and variety of seeds. It was also important to me that the seeds and soil were organic. I have now grown all 3 varieties and the microgreens are very tasty. So far my favourite is the nutritional salad mix. I’ll definitely be ordering some refill packs and am very pleased I chose this company over the others.

Been buying for a couple of years now, absolutely excellent crops and saves me a fortune on buying veg in the winter. I grow all year round in my kitchen.

Bought the kids kit for my grandson for Christmas. Due to the postal strike my first kit was lost somewhere in the system but Tom soon got it sorted and replacment the kit arrived today. Seems fairly easy and good instructions, looking forward to tasting some soon.

I'm absolutely no good at gardening or keeping plants alive, so this was a bit of a gamble! The kit arrived and the instructions were really easy to follow. The nutritional mix is so good and these have really added a bit of variety to my lunches. I was so impressed I've ordered a refill kit! Really happy and can definitely recommend

A beautiful kit. Great value for money, with clear and detailed instructions on how to use and what to expect. Everything in the kit is sent and packaged in recyclable paper and card. The growing dishes are beautiful and are made of terracotta pot. I love how there isn’t a hint of plastic anywhere in sight! I’ve just got my first seeds sprouting, and looking forward to eating them. Will definitely buy more from this lovely company.

I bought this to give as a gift for my daughter and we planted it together and she has sent me photos. It's a lovely kit with considered eco contents. The terracotta planting trays are lovely quality. So nice to have sustainable reusable content. There was absolutely no plastic in this kit. Everything was either brown paper or cardboard. There is a plentiful supply of seeds and these all germinated as expected. I'm very impressed and now thinking of doing a subscription myself.

I have just started out with my first growing kit..... I was so excited to receive it! The bowls provided to grow the seeds in are beautiful and I love that they are made by a family business. I am so sick of hearing about the pesticides in all our foods and I choose to grow organic microgreens from now on to feed my family safely. The kit is so pleasing, organic, sustainable.... I'm really keen to keep this up from now on. Highly recommended.

Love this company. I ordered a starter pack and additional trays and soil as I had ordered seeds from them last year. The kits and seeds come with growing instructions and before long you have lovely microgreens growing on your window sill. The only problem I have is remembering to actually add the greens to my meal! Definitely recommend.

I'm still a novice at growing, but my first batch has just been taken out of the dark place and is green and growing well. I've found the company very pleasant to deal with, and am looking forward to the first harvest. I'm about to give my grandson a kit for his 11th birthday next week, so can't give feedback yet.

I bought the starter kit and the hanging ceramic macrame planters.
Although Organic I found getting people growing were cheaper than other similar companies. My kit is beautiful to look at hanging in my window as well as very very clear to understand the instructions. All the seeds germinated in the first 3 days and happily grew on into beautiful healthy plants xxxx I adore this easy, beautiful way to nourish my family. Its totally sustainable, economically and time and space wise... Thank you for your help getting me growing xx love Marianne
