This great place has a variety of foods, ingredients and spices that you may not find in any other supermarkets in Portsmouth. They also have an in-house butcher providing halal meat.

Love this place - always worth a wonder through and discovering new ingredients - veg is fresh and the selection of chillies are v good.

Fantastic produces, amazing fresh fruits and vegetables, watermelons are enormous, sometimes 2 or 3 times bigger than normal supermarkets, I couldn't believe it! Good value for money, they have all kinds of unusual foods, from honey, to halva, to french sugar cubes, to big glass jars of black or green olives, their naan bread is delicious and 2, 3 times bigger than other places, this is definitely my favourite shop in this street! Definitely recommend, and the staff is so incredibly nice and helpful 😀

Lovely local shop full of several varieties of bread, rice, beans, lentils, noodles, fruit, veg, pickled and frozen, they have a great butchers as well as a frozen section, fantastic fresh baklava and so much more.

Great place for all your Halal needs! Amazing selection of fresh vegetables, and ingredients from all over the world. We love shopping here. Always a treat to be found.

Superb fresh ingredients and a lot of unique items you will not find elsewhere.
The butcher's does some very good items at a very reasonable price.
Support your local independent business like this, and yes you pay a tiny bit more sometimes, but you get better produce and a friendly smile.

One of my favourite shops in the area, always have majority of the Middle Eastern and Mediterranean items I look for. They also have really nice snacks that you could only get in Iran. Amazing. Lovely staff and owners. Highly recommend this place! Merci x

I travel across from the Island about 3 times per year, to stock up on my tinned, Jared, and spice and herb needs, that are either not available on the Island, or are so bloody expensive it's cheaper to go over to the North Isle to buy them.
Todate ( 40 years ) they have always had what was needed.

Great little place, loads of spices that I needed for a recipe at half the price of big supermarkets. Loads of fresh produce, meat and fish. I will definitely shop again. Helpful friendly staff. Fab!

This store on Albert Road has an abundance of European and Middle Eastern foods and condiments all in one place and not overpriced. Lots of fresh fruit and veg and a fresh halal meat counter as well

Another excellent place to shop if you want a myriad of spices, fresh groceries, gala meat and chicken and food for making dishes from the Middle East and Asia. Among the desserts sold are some delicious Iranian one too.
