ALDI

Aldi is fab. Can't fault going here. Also there is express checkouts however queuing isn't a problem as staff get your groceries through at speed. Pleasant supermarket to walk around. Only thing to be weary about is people begging outside asking for the pound you put in your trolley. I think they need moving on but we'll see if that ever happens.

2021 Update after renovation
It does look better, more organised. There's also a better selection of beer now.

2020 virus update
They now have a covid queuing system. Red means wait green means go. There are now perspex screens to protect the cashiers. There's also hand sanitiser just after you enter. Most people inside aren't wearing masks ( I was one of the few). There are 2 meter lines on the floor but these are generally ignored except at the checkout but that's not Aldi's fault.

Good cheap food, beer etc.

Fantastic range and prices and the staff at checkout were very helpful

Standard Aldi store, all your shopping needs and a few bargains, I visit this store if I'm near it, stumbled on these fish burgers which are suppose to taste like fish o fillet from McDonald's, cooked them in air fryer and taste as good if not better than McDonald's.

Speaking on behalf of Tesco™ , brother Aldi I respect your prices and good deals that honestly I don't think we can compete with but I have got to say that the Tesco™ experience is alot more engaging, inspiring and over all a delightful experience so in conclusion you may have beaten us with your good pricing and excellent deals BUT TESCO™ IS STILL FAR SUPERIOR AND NOTHING CAN BEAT TESCO™ WE RULE THE UNITED KINDGDOM BOW BEFORE US YOU SCUMMY SUPERMARKET!!!!

Another easy shop. The fridges have clear doors (well most of them do, a few must have broken) which help to keep the cold in the fridge and out of the shop. Almost everything on my shopping list was available. The only thing missing was poppadoms but they are not an essential on the list anyway.
There were two tills open when I was ready to pay as well as the self service tills. I didn't have to wait to put my shopping on the conveyor belt.
All the staff were very friendly and helpful, getting me my required pizzas from the back store as there weren't any on the shelf.
If I remember next time I will ask for my receipt when my items Start being put through being asked if I wanted it earlier meant it could print as we went which saved a second or two at the end. 😀

Clear market prices. A good choice of food

Very reasonable prices of all grocery stuff in the days when cost of living is going UP. Almost find everything that is usually required from supermarkets. Pampers prices are way too reasonable especially. I am sure if the same stuff is bought in same quantity, from Tesco 2.25X prices would have been applicable.

I often like to have a wander down here,its a nice shop. I do like these foreign supermarkets actually,they cheap and cheerful! 🖤

Fantastic best value for money

This particular Aldi is very well stocked. Customer service is good but public toilets are out of order. A request to a staff member I was able to take my child to the staff facilities. Overall I liked this Aldi.

Quality of food is far better than asda

It's great for where I live always great for popping in and getting what you want

Our one stop shop for our weekly big shop

First time I've visited found plenty of choice lovely food and bread average priced pieces of meat example piece of pork. Found other items my little one age 5 will love like cod bites and few other things. Store was clean and well presented. Staff on tills were friendly
