Moorey's Health Stores

After passing so many clones of traditional tea rooms, we found this gem. It's well worth a visit if you're looking for good, fresh food or something to drink. The staff are friendly and attentive. The food is freshly prepared and beautifully presented. As a bonus, the prices are really competitive for Skipton.

Has a little vegetarian café upstairs Excellent food, very healthy and tasty. Staff are nice. Served quickly. Next time we are in Skipton, we will pay a visit.

Stopped here for a cuppa and cake. Not always easy when vegan but no problems here! Tea with oat milk and a very big slice of beautiful vegan lemon and elderflower cake! Lovely staff, lovely food - great find and highly recommend 😍

Nice and Safe and Great food.
We went there a few days ago and were really impressed. It is only a small café above a health food shop, but what you get is a big surprise.
The café is up s short flight of stairs but the room is really quite spacious. Met by smiling friendly staff and shown to a freshly sanitised table. The menu shows an imaginative range of vegetarian meals.
We were very surprised at the size of the portions we received and how quickly it appeared. The kitchen is open to the room so you can see the food being prepared, no secrets there!!
All the food appears to me made to order with a large mouth watering selection of cakes to take away or eat in.
All covid rules seem to be followed, nice clean toilets , leaves you feeling very safe.
We can highly recommend Leaf and Bean to every one. You do not have to be a vegetarian to appreciate this cuisine. Also prices are reasonable.

Update May 2021

Great!! It is open again, at last. Managed to get in today, the first day of opening. We didn't have a lot of time today so it was just a cup of coffee and lovely piece of Date and Oat slice. Tasted even better after the long gap. We also got to meet the owner Wayne. Really nice person, very chatty. Seems he has 2 other shops further afield.

All covid rules are in place!
Anyway, thanks again, we will be back for lunch as soon as we can.

Been here a good few times now. The food is superb. Being vegan can be tricky but the food is home made and healthy!!! Can’t recommend enough!!!! 👍👍

The café that is above the shop, The Leaf and Bean Café, is a very nice place that serves nice food that tastes amazing

Brilliant customer service today from a very helpful and well informed sales assistant 👍 I bought a Vogel tincture and it was reassuring to talk to someone who obviously loves their job!! 😊

Fabulous food. Tasty takeaway paninis. Highly recommended for veggie and vegan eats.

What a fantastic independent health shop a good selection of vitamins and health foods, you can just about buy anything from this store and more importantly if they stock it they will do there best to order it for you ,and the staff are very friendly and helpful if you're in Skipton give it a try

Waited 20 minutes for 2 lattes. Decided to cancel the order, which was paid in advance by card. Given a cash refund with £1 deducted. Maybe be an oversight but to be charged for wasting 20 mins is not good for encouraging return customers.

Lack of atmosphere. Staff need a smile boost. Do lots of gluten free but my scone was overcooked & very hard. Won’t be visiting again 😕
