Went today to Bedminster branch and did a massive pre Xmas shop and forgot my pin on my card. The cashier was so patient and helped me retrieve it from my phone. I was so grateful to her. And she helped pack my bags as I had so much. Thank you.

This is my go to store. Totally consistent, staff always helpful! My little boy was super poorly on our last visit and the staff who helped were so lovely, positive and made me feel like it was all okay! Thank you

Interesting place built next to the old WD and HO Wills Ashton.

It has a car park and being recently refurbished, overall is an
improvement.

It can get extremely packed, checkouts can look as though people are panic buying, very noisy. Common to all Supermarkets having to negotiate pallets and cages of items being put out in the aisles and avoiding being hit by other shoppers with trolleys and baskets. Can be claustrophobic when busy.

Other times it can be quite empty and quiet and pleasant. I do note recently they tend to give shoppers time to pack after checkout and there are the packing tables at the back of the checkout. Rather than the mad rush through Checkout and pay, then straight onto the next customer. So, everything gets chucked back in the basket. An improvement now.

What you do get is an extensive range of produce, fresh and frozen. Generally, I found to be of consistently high quality, and you know where it comes from. The Viennese Whirls, the Steaks, fresh Vegetables, prepacked fresh Cream Cakes. Occasionally you can get some gems, Spitfire Ale, Courage Best Bitter, Courage Directors Bitter.

Prices surprisingly tend to be very good, that is cheaper generally than anywhere else. Even though a great many items are Aldi’s own brand version.

A key element I think is the irony of a German company and a family business at that, sourcing and stocking far more British produce than some supposedly British Supermarkets!

One particular reason to shop here. If you want quality produce at a fair price, this is a place I can certainly recommend!

My favourite supermarket though the friendly staff always appear to be talking to themselves when in reality they are communicating on their headsets 🤣

I recently visited Aldi on North Street in Bedminster and I was pleasantly surprised. The store had a wide variety of quality items, including fresh produce and some rare items that I didn't see in my other local stores. The staff were friendly, the shelves were well-stocked, and the checkout process was fast and efficient. Prices were also incredibly reasonable, especially compared to other supermarkets in the area. Overall, Aldi North Street is a great place to shop for groceries and I would definitely recommend it.

Aldi is my go-to grocery store for budget-friendly shopping. It's a German chain that's known for its low prices and good quality products. I'm always amazed at how cheap everything is, especially considering the good quality. The store itself is usually pretty crowded, but the aisles are wide and it's easy to navigate. The selection is a little more limited than some of the other big grocery chains, but they still have a good variety of products and I can usually find everything I need. I also really appreciate that they have a lot of their own brand products, which are often just as good as the name brands but much cheaper. Overall, I'd definitely recommend checking out Aldi for your grocery needs if you're looking to save some money.

So much better now that they have self service and therefore can get through the queues faster. There's plenty of space in the aisles and it's always well stocked. The staff we've encountered have always been friendly and helpful too.

Great store, can be busy ( it's Aldi's, they all are to be fair) just a reminder that the ANPR cameras are working.I found out with a nice little note saying they want £70. Apparently I overstayed my welcome.

Always search the wine section for excellent yet inexpensive wines before they are snapped up by others who appreciate the quality on offer

It's Aldi. What more is there to say. The produce is good value and good quality. It is often very busy but I go in when it is quieter midweek. My last surprise find was whole cooked lobster for £7.99. Delicious! They now sell fresh veg and it is possible to get all your groceries there.

Bargains. Good quality. Top staff and great selections of produce available throughout the store albeit limited to Aldi's specific brands the items are often great quality and well priced.
+ this1 has upgraded with a self service check out which is great for when you're only popping in for 1or2 things.

I do part of weekly shop here, constantly surprised by how much you can get for low prices and the quality is always 100%. In fact my favourite frozen pizza comes from here and is less than 2 pounds! Good staff, fast service and low prices!

Remains a great store. Prices have , obviously, increased somewhat. But still incredibly competitive. Update: continues to provide quality and brilliant value. Excellent parking. Great staff attitude. Update: I'm surprised that Aldi seems to keep shelves full and other large supermarket chains appear to have difficulty. Remains supermarket of choice. Prices higher than before but still extremely competitive

Good store. Large and plenty of products available here. Some random items and some really great offers here.
Much better at the checkouts now as they let you pack your items at the till, rather than chucking it all into the trolley and having to re-pack at the "packing shelf".
Staff are friendly.
The store is clean and tidy, good manoeuvrability through the store.

Great range of products as you'd expect from a good quality national retailer. And super, friendly staff who are always a companies best asset.

Be very wary of the car park. It's covered by CCTV that monitors users and limits visitors to an hour and a half only - and only when shopping in the store, so don't be tempted to leave the car there and shop elsewhere.

(And no, I haven't been caught, I'm not willing to take that chance!)

I found this branch of Aldi, cheaper than Henbury.
Good sized store.
Free parking.
Staff not that brilliant, checkout operator no manners, not a hello nor thank you. Very rude
