The Candle Sanctuary

An amazing candle-making workshop for my daughter’s 11th birthday! The workshop is a lovely space and Rachel was great at explaining all about various scents and the process of candle-making. She provided snacks and drinks and we were able to bring our own cakes. The girls had a fantastic time and the parents are keen to return for an adult workshop themselves! I highly recommend Rachel’s workshops. Thanks so much for a wonderful afternoon!

Husband booked the candle making morning as a surprise for our 16th (wax) wedding anniversary. It was a lovely set up. She was very knowledgeable. We had a lot of time to do it and pick different scents and there was coffee and cake too! We made some amazing candles to take home. Thoroughly recommend to anyone.

Such a great experience. Rachel is really knowledgeable about the science behind the scents and genuinely passionate about the subject. And the scents on offer are absolutely divine! Be careful though - you'll want to book again and again so you can make the complete collection! Oh, and home baked cake, served in a beautiful workshop just topped it all off! Highly recommend and would definitely go again!

Really enjoyed the candle making workshop. Rachel was very knowledgeable and I definitely learnt a lot . I came home with two gorgeous smelling candles and I am looking forward to making my own. Totally recommend this workshop.

I have many different candles but these are my absolute favourites! The French lavender sleep candle is divine along with the lime, basil and mandarin and sweet orange and bergamot. The fragrances are long lasting and the soy candles burn slowly. I love that the jars can be refilled when they do eventually burn down.

The candle making parties are fantastic fun and a great evening out. They are the perfect balance of information and an opportunity to explore new fragrances with the added bonus of a glass of Prosecco. After a lovely evening in a fantastic setting, you then get to take your creations home to enjoy.

So pleased with the outdoor candles I bought. The Moroccan style candles are especially pretty and will look the part for alfresco drinks with friends. Thank you !
