Virdee stores is famous for its Bhesan - which is absolutely delicious, but everything else there is delicious aswell!
The samosas and chutney are incredible.
I loved all the different flavours of barfi; my favourites were Oreo and raspberry ripple.

Would definitely recommend Virdee stores for Indian savoury or sweet snacks.

Fantastic Indian Authentic Food Store. Free Chats, Samosa and Indian Sweets. I was recommended Virdee Stores by a friend and I have to stay it's the best Indian Sweet Shop in Kent. I travel from Greenhithe just to go there, especially on weekends when they have extra hot meals.

There's always a nice friendly atmosphere and they've started doing fusion barfi. It's still family run business, which is quite rare these days.

If you're lucky, you may see a wedding couple food tasting for their wedding. If you get a chance, you ought to check them out.

My personal favourites are the Gajrela, Mango and Coconut Burfi. My kids love the Oreo Burfi.

Virdees is the only place we go to in gravesend for Indian sweets and savoury snacks. Samosas, spring rolls and pakoras are always so lovely. Their barfi is out of this world!!!! I’m originally from west London and virdees food is even better than a lot of southall shops. Keep up the amazing work guys!!!

This is amongst the best place for pure vegetarian Indian sweets and savouries in Kent!
With outstanding service, cleanliness and all round deliciousness, this is the first place I think of especially when entertaining guests at home.
I particularly love the pera’s, Jalebies and besan, not forgetting the Chaat, spring rolls and Virdee’s chutney!!
Everything always taste so fresh and of excellent quality.
I would definitely recommend this place to everyone ❤

Saw an instagram reel from 1970's of your shop and couldn't resist searching on google maps to know more. I'm from India and sometime in life I'll surely visit to have those mouthwatering delicacies. Best Mithai you’ll ever taste 😍 if you haven’t tried it yet you’re truly missing out. The taste of this mithai is unique and you won’t have had anything like it before! The chutney and samoseh are also delicious!

Visited here for the samosas although is mainly an Indian sweets shop. Good pastry on the samosas just like you’d buy in India and supplied with a tasty sweet tamarind sauce. It’s a gravesend institution having been here for many decades. Friendly people.

You simply won’t find a better sweet and savoury Indian/Punjabi store. Virdee Stores is a timeless culinary masterpiece, every mouthful is to be savored. I would list personal favorites but it would end up being a list of the whole shabang of goodies! Not to mention fantastic service and trend setting additions to menu.

Very high quality sweet and savoury products. As a family we have been doing 20 mile round trips for over 20 years, worth every visit. My wife just bought a variety of products today, simply delicious and fresh. Hope to shop here for many more years to come.... 😋

Amazing service, super fresh food. The basin was freshly made and was perfection. The pakoreh were a massive hit and the chaat just topped everything off. Lovely welcoming owners who go the extra mile for any special requests 😌

Very good quality home-made traditional Indian sweets including a new savoury Choice of delicious starters. We shall definitely be returning for the Oreo Barfi. Very friendly people and super helpful.
