B&M Home Store with Garden Centre

Located at the end of Sainsbury’s this B&M store with garden centre is very deceptive at first glance. The car park is large and attached to B&M plus Sainsbury’s and Sainsbury’s petrol station . There are two ways in and out that I could see ,but I opted for the main entrance to the car park as it’s more accessible from the Rawdon side of Harrogate Road by car . On foot there is a set of steps from the road. These are located lower down next to the large sign . For wheelchairs and pushchairs etc the entrance is just to the left of the car wash . There are a series of zebra crossing across the car park to the shop entrance . As I arrived by car I drove down the car park and turned into the B&M disabled bays . There are several . By wheelchairs follow the ramp to the main doors .They are automatically opened up . The first surprise is when you find yourself in a large foyer!! Entrance to B&M is on your left , Sainsbury’s to your right front ,customer toilets including disabled are on your right ,and to your right behind you is the entrance to Sainsbury’s cafe.
I turned left into B&M and got a real surprise!! It’s a far larger store than I thought and has a good garden centre . The pictures will tell the story .
It’s not expensive and with a little bit of help I got a what I came for .I had no difficulty in getting around the store, even with the numerous sale bins dotted about .

Well set out. Very good range of items. Reasonable prices. Plenty of stock and staff.

The Greengates store and quite a large store with a well stocked garden center as well as a large food section also available are a range of sundry goods and like all B&M stores there prices are very good, as for parking a very large car park shared with sainsburys.

There is so much to discover at B & M.

My husband works at the Greengates branch and the staff work very well together.

B & M is one of those shops where you plan to go in for certain items but you end up buying other things too, because there are so many interesting options to choose from.

I only work once a week and often come across the perfect Birthday present for my friends. The ranges offered are very well thought out.

B & M should be congratulated for their range of merchandise and for their pleasant staff and service.

Absolutely love going here. It's like being in aladins cave, except you get to keep the treasure there is something for every room in the house or garden and something for everyone.

This B&M has one of the best ranges I've seen - fantastic choice, well laid out, good variety. Lovely staff too.

Can't fault the stores in general for value either - very rarely can't find what I want for cheaper than standard supermarkets.

There are toilets in the lobby area shared with J Sainsbury.

Absolutely love this store it’s huge and extremely well stocked staff are so friendly I needed help reaching something on food and nice man Peter helped me get it I didn’t even ask he saw me struggling and just came to help me when I had all I needed and the extra I went to the till lines are busy there but I over heard the lady say to another lady That two called in sick and so they was on there own so I can’t really say there fault I also wanted to know if they had garden product they didn’t but she called three stores and they didn’t she took my number and called me soon as it came in which was only a day but she called me and said it had come in and if I was still interested she would hold it for me she did that I went back in bought two Howard the garden center man helped sort delivery out for me it was the customer service manager and Howard the garden center man they went above and beyond to help me I love this store and all the staff as they are never too busy to help and for that reason I will keep going back as I’ve had other stores say they will ring u when it’s in call never comes she called me the day after I didn’t pick up so I was texted to say it was in I called the number back she answered and sorted it for me greengates the best b&m

Very busy large ques at the checkout. The poor girl that served me was been shouted at by customers because she was closing her checkout. It upset me that she broke down yet continued to serve. I felt so sorry for her. Hope she is OK.

We still visit this B&M having moved from the area and are never disappointed with the stock, cleanliness and customer service.

Just tonight, we thought we were out of luck with a choice of paint, however an employee, William Matthew or Matthew William (sorry I cannot remember!) went above and beyond to find it for us out in the delivery area. This was a pleasant surprise from the usual 'all we've got is what is out' that you get from workers in most stores. This type of customer service saves the frustration of having to make countless trips to other stores and generally makes your day - cheers for going above and beyond!

We wanted to buy some garden rocks from the garden centre so looked for a flat trolley to put them, next thing a staff member came running up to us and said you cannot use that it is for staff only. What are we supposed to use to put rocks in and he back with a normal shopping trolley not much use to put rocks in so we went to the Shipley branch where they do have the flat trolleys and got the rocks from there. Not very helpful at this Bradford store need to get some flat trollies. Shipley and Crossflatts very helpful.

It has all sorts. But I'd never be able to go all the way round browsing it huge. Nice friendly staff. Today I got a deep fat fryer like what me mam bought me for Christmas once many moons ago. It was a bargain.
