The best breakfast I have had, top quality ingredients and a huge portion. Washed down with proper leaf tea served in a pot. Friendly staff and a great venue. I don’t often rave about places but this is worth a trip out of your way - fans of an English Breakfast will not be disappointed!

First time visit to Applegates Antiques and Crafts with a friend. Lovely place full of interesting items. Spent half the time reminiscing over some of the objects. Not a big place but well worth a look round. The owners are lovely. Had cake and a drink in the cafe. Nice choice of snacks and cakes to choose from. There’s also a farm shop and gift shop.

I have previously had lovely cheese and ham and smoked salmon sandwiches and chips but today as it was cooler I thought I'd try one of the hot food options. So pleased I did - had a great hotdog with a proper sausage, onions and sauces. Yummy

We discovered this place a few years ago as a tea break on our way to North Wales. Nice produce on sale, always looks fresh. We have eaten a couple of times here and the food is always good. Prices as everywhere, but if you need a longer stop there is an antiques building on site. The cafe is now called Harry Bows and we will be calling back on Friday.xx

We just love this place. Run by a lovely couple Dennis and Carol. Plenty to view and a lovely cafe at good sensible pricing. Lovely accommodating staff. Cafe is small so be patient it will be worth it. Parking is limited but you can park outside gates on road nearby.

Fab new owners. Completely gutting and starting again. Excited to try the new bistro menu and cafe/cakes. And what the farm shop and sweet treats have when it opens. All sounds brilliant!

We had the most delicious lunch at the café here. Such warm and friendly service with high-quality food. The New York baked cheesecake was phenomenal.

Pop into the attached farm shop, too. There were lots of interesting artisanal foods and we had to stop ourselves from buying everything to try it all!

Met up with friends here and enjoyed a good cup of coffee in pleasant surroundings. Decided to stay for an excellent sandwich.

A treasure trove of all kinds of antiques at very reasonable prices. Welcoming and helpful staff. Cafe next door closed on Mondays.

Having the smoked salmon & scrambled eggs. Really good food. An absolute pleasure.

Beutiful place with friendly (probably) owner. Bought a few nice items there. Some reviewers said that they weren't allowed to negotiate, which is not true in my case. I negotiated the price without issue. It is a pity that this shop is so far away from me, would definitely visit again. You will find here a little bit of everything.
