Great shop which, apart from the essentials you would expect, also stocks a whole host of spices (much cheaper than buying supermarket jars), rices, pulses, flours and a wide range of ingredients for different cuisines such as Indian, Filipino, Thai, African and Caribbean. The guys who work in there are friendly and they do 2 hours free parking behind the shop, access to shop via back door. Highly recommended!

Good for fresh Indian and African foods, especially Nigerian foods. Fresh vegetables are supplied every Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays and they've got friendly staff.

Really good variety, from all over Asia and some contries of Africa. The products are reasonably priced, a lot cheaper than other Asian shops in town, and the guys that work there are always friendly and very helpful. Would definitely recommend it 👌🏻

Amazing shop and managed to get most ingredients for a curry I was cooking. Staff really helpful and kindly agreed to order some ingredients in for me. Will definitely return.

Well stocked, ideal place to buy the foodstuffs we need. Plantain, yam, okra, sweet potato, rice, chilli etc. Shop has been extended and modernized now with wider choice and regular stocks of fresh vegetables. Catering for Afro Caribbean and Indian food tastes.

I always get fresh plantain and the different meats such as cow foot, tripe and the beef tastes so good. Its conviniently located for easy access too. If you are looking for Afro carribean food thats the best place to go.

Daily Needs is the only store in Taunton where I get my needs met in terms of my local food items. I would have been starved and miserable meal-wise without Dailly Needs. Visiting the store alone brings me satifactions and the availability of my needed/wanted foodstuff is an icing on my cake anytime anyday.

Wow! This place is amazing...
Have just moved here from London and have just found this gem of a place. The staff are super helpful and they have an enormous stock of everything Asian you could need. Even hard to find mustard oil and Keralan drumsticks - fresh too! Other wonderful finds - Dosa mix, too many varieties of pickles to count, all the regular spices in large bags, whole and ground, together with whole dried Kashmiri chillis so I can grind my own powder for fuller flavour. They have an online shop too, so if you can't get here in person you don't need to miss out.
Will definitely be back to dig around and find some more jewels. Thank you!

All kerala items are available here , it was happy moment when i find this store . I was happy like anything.

Shop for all people, white, African, Indian, you can find all you need to buy. Imagine buying Abuja bread (I'm Nigerian and Abuja is the capital) in Taunton. That's why another name for Daily needs is African store.

The range in this store is massive, be sure to explore all the way to the back. Guaranteed there will be something in here you've never heard of! If you need help ask one of the guys/girls, they have always been really helpful when I have needed them.

The best place to get certain South Indian spices, fruits, vegetables and frozen meat products in Taunton. Simply awesome and would recommend to all!

Overpriced for normal items .. I get excellent basmati rice for 10pound and get normal rice here for 13 pound ? Frozen meats are costlier
