Elif Food Centre

Istanbul food centre was renamed elif food centre recently. They have a wide variety of fruit and veg sitting outside as you can see from the picture. And they are one of the few stores that is open at 5 a.m. so from the time I get home from my night shift I can get some bananas because Tesco isn't open or I'd go there. The service is very friendly and you should check out the frozen kebab which I'm tempted to get now write in this review because I tried the turkey kebab and the lamb doner and they were both excellent. I simply heated them in the oven for about 10 minutes. There really was no difference in taste between the frozen 1 that they stock and the Fresh one you would get cut or sliced off of the skewer in a kebabish.

This is a good and affordable local shop that cater for the people around Greenland, goodmayes, becontree Avenue and it's environs. Their price is quite friendly and affordable

Plenty of stock, food was all countries and some household items available.

Shelves are well stocked, Isles are a bit tight.

Butchers inside too.

Fridges are packed with cold meats.

Everything you would expect from a Turkish food store.

Nice touch was rhey offered to carry shopping to the car which ahead of the competition further down the road.

Bakery is a Hidden gem! Love the fresh bread and pogcha and halal sausage rolls 😍😍 no need to go all the way to north london for turkish bakery anymore!

Variety of vegs and fruits. You can find loads of Turkish products in store. They do have Halal butcher which he prepares marinated meat ready to cook. Also they have bakery isle; Turkish bread, sesame bagels (simit), pastries and many more. Recently added an olive bar, pick and mix. Visit their fridge part and give a try some of the breakfast items, different types of cheese, breakfast pastes (acuka, cemen) and halal meat products.

Courteous, friendly and helpful staff. Very clean, well-lit, pleasant store. Well stocked; really fresh fruits.
