An excellent store, almost all food products are organic, although the prices are also high. For lovers of organic products. There is a small parking lot for cars. A large selection of natural shampoos and conditioners for washing hair, soap, liquid soap, body milk gel, organic detergents for washing and rinsing clothes, cleaning the house. When you go shopping, take a thicker wallet!

A nice cosy spot to buy some ethical products. We try our best to come here if we are in Cambridge. There's only 6 car spots, which might mean you have to part either on the dead end street before the warehouse (or in another warehouse car park, like screwfix opposite) This cooperative is a large warehouse with open shelving and a place where the items are sorted and packed. There is also a small cafe - the coffee isn't barista coffee and there's a nice selection cakes.

I have had the best vegan doughnut from here in the morning!! I was served by a super nice woman and she told me that the doughnuts are available only on Fridays and Saturdays. I will return to buy more for sure :)
The shop is really nice and the staff is always friendly.

I've been using DB regularly for special vegan-friendly ingredients and treats for well over a decade. Staff are always super-nice and helpful and the range of products is impressive. The new 6.20pm closing on weekdays (except Mondays when it's 4pm) is a great help for those working office hours locally and can't wait till Saturday.

This is the first time that I used Daily Bread Co-operative for shopping. I loved it. very clean, well organised, friendly staff and fresh product.it is nice to be there. Also, I love the co-operative ideology and I think we should support it.

Definitely my favourite place in Cambridge!!! :-) Come along to rekindle the hope you have for the world! Friendly staff, inclusive environment, creative products, delicious ingredients - food for the soul. "Another world is not only possible, she is on her way. On a quiet day, I can hear her breathing.” (Arundhati Roy)

Have been coming here for years to refill all my plastic containers of soaps etc. Great range of products. Picked up some water kefir here last time which I haven't seen anywhere else.

Excellent source of vegan products, the absolute best sundried tomatoes we have ever found anywhere!
Great variety of products not found in any other shop.

An institution really - part of the very fabric of Cambridge life. Apparently they are facing closure - times are indeed tough, but if we all purchased just one item from this wonderful shop, I'm sure we could keep them going!

My favourite shop, full of lovely stuff, and it's soooooo good having the dispensers for dry stuff like oats and lentils.

My local oasis! I've been shopping here for decades. This week I got Covid, so I rang Daily Bread, explained I was testing positive so didn't want to come in and risk infecting people, but was desperate for some fresh fruit and veg. Tom kindly agreed to put some oranges, kiwis and tissues into a box and bring them out to the car park, where I paid by contactless and nobody was put at risk. Above and beyond the call of duty, but no less than I would expect from DB! The fruit was lovely of course: sweet, juicy and delicious - really hit the spot :-)

I just love the smell of spices when you open the door and walk into the shop. It immediately makes you think of lovely food from all around the world! That's something I look forward to every time I visit. I do try not to come too often, because I always end up spending more than I planned.

This is the shop I go to when I need some special ingredients, when I need good quality spices in bigger packs than you would get in supermarkets, when i need Gluten Free stuff, it's the cheapest place for good quality coconut oil, I come to buy bigger bags of raisins or other dried fruit (and they have most of them without the sulphur as well and the normal ones)bigger bags of nuts and seeds and al the stuff you can't get anywhere else. If I ever move away from Cambridge, this is the one shop that I would miss the most!

If you love the idea of full-on nature food, this is the place for you. Everything feels like it comes straight from the earth and has only natural ingredients. The prices are pretty good as well. Definitely worth a visit even just to look around and check out some of the products that you might not see elsewhere or in your local supermarket.

Great place. Quietly tucked away and manned by friendly, helpful people that are not openly zealous about Veganism or Vegetarianism, but sell good products at very reasonable prices encouraging a visitor, by example, to explore whole foods.

On my way there now in fact :)

My former Housemate/ Landlord Richard never told me about this place.

I had to put up with crummy Tescos and weirdos stealing discounted pizza at the small Tescos in the Arbury goes by another name but I won't repeat.

Shame on you Richard:

They sell organic food and essential oils.

Fresh bread, organic products for natural living.

Richard you are on my bad list for not telling me about this place sooner.

Great place .As someone else commented it isn't cheap but the quality of the products is excellent. Everything you need for a varied healthy diet without masses of unnecessary packaging. Friendly staff too.
