Anytime I'm in the Cambridge area I pop in for a chat and to have a look around this iconic tackleshop. Fantastic location right next to the river Cam (excellent fishing on the whip using maggots) and Frank is a wealth of knowledge. Love it

I've just started fishing with my young lad and went in here with little prior knowledge of angling, it didn't take us long to land our first fish. This shop and proprietor are brilliant.

Amazing service, only have to ask and will give advise on anything from places to fish to bait and tackle to use. Jam packed with everything you could possibly need, if not in stock will order for you . Has been going for 50 years so think that says it all as have his son working with him so make double the knowledge and double the banter. Don’t let the front put you off as not the most attractive front ,although that’s just do to protecting the stock from more vandalism. So from casters to poles if you need it they either have it or can get it . A must to go to if a starter to professional.

Frank is a wealth of local angling knowledge. His bait's/maggots are always very good and probably some of the best available locally. Surprisingly this well stocked little angling emporium is very competitive price wise , with ample on street parking available this place is well worth a visit.

Great tackle shop. I was there many times and I have always found there all I needed. Whatever question do you have about local fisheries, the guys always will recommend the best places to go for fishing.

Cracking place. Old skool to the core, guys were well equipped and had what I needed. If I'm ever in the area again I'll be going there for my bait.
