Really friendly staff. Sometimes there is a wait at the till, but the staff are efficient at serving and gets the queue down quickly. Always a good range of freshly baked pastries, rolls and breakfast items. Items aren't too expensive. There is a paypoint and lottery machine here too.

Excellent local shop with almost everything you need and very friendly staff! Always open and there when you need it, even open on New Year’s Day!

I called into this branch to drop off a parcel for Hermes. Unfortunately I didn't have the full scanning number I needed. The assistant,Vicky, was so polite and helpful even though the shop was really busy.Thank you Vicky. You're a star.

I feel like the negative reviews here are a bit harsh. The staff are usually friendly and helpful.

Some self service tills would help to reduce the queues. It is quite annoying the way they now often close to 'restock shelves' now and you walk to the shop and then realise on arrival that it won't reopen for half an hour.

The NHS discount is appreciated and it is good to have the Hermes service.

Nice: open 'till late, friendly personel, and often reduced stuff due to being almost expired. Not so nice: never ever any fruits/veg left in the eve.
