Maid Marion Off Licence

The Off Licence always have the necessary convenience goods that I need to buy on a daily basis. They also have a wonderful range of alcohol in the shop.

Staff really friendly shop there often sometimes there is lots of people and not much space to queue other than that great place to shop local

Staff are always friendly. Very good little shop

No prices on most of the goods it's a lottery on what they will charge you. Inventory stacked in the aisles so you can barely move. Minimum card spend even though prices are high!? Include it in the prices. There is only one honest store locally so will be using them from now on

Never put prices on anything...always overcharging

If I could give a zero rating I would for several reasons
1/ they shut down for over 2 weeks lying saying it was a gas fault then it was some work needed doing when in reality it was a plague of big RATS
2/ I have been given a zero vend transaction from my energy supplier as I have no heat or hot water and the temperature in my flat is 14degrees we are in hat, scarf and gloves in bed to try to stay warm and because are not getting cash they refuse to put the emergency credit vend on the card and it can only be the nominated pay point/shop which is Maid Marion
3/ I buy at least 2-3 bags of crisps per day @£1.79 each went to buy them and they told me they’re now £2.49 per bag RIP OFF.
4/ sell out of date goods and gone off milk and everything is freezer burnt it’s a joke. I will not use them again but I will make sure that I get the gas and electric totalling almost £200.00 from them. Trust Me. I am registered disabled with chest infections and asthma, a blood clot and much more and am sat freezing cold and can’t get hold of supplier until Monday

Do not give these guys a single penny,
Yesterday (01/03/23) i popped in just as environmental health turned up and closed it there and then for having a rat infestation (can be proved) The staff are very rude and often over charges and sells out of date food.They cant store fresh food correctly as more than once i have brought a pint of milk (still in date) only to find it had gone off.If you dare try to complain you will find yourself being shouted at and told to f-off and go elsewhere,And that is exactly what i am doing and so should you. Even tho this shop is a stones throw away from my front door id rather jump on the bus and go elsewhere.
i had to give it a 1 star only because i couldn't warn others without a star,(they don't even deserve 1)
So please be warned!

I stopped using this store as they continually overcharge for items. I only went today due to no coffee. I made sure the items I bought had prices on and yet again .was overcharged by £1. I definitely would not recommend this shop. Very poor service and someone is making money out of the customers. If there was a telephone number I would have rang and complained. Also when you question the price they get stroppy .

Never open at the right times. Especially don't expect your paper with your cornflakes on Sunday. Useless
