I can't believe it has taken my almost 10 years realise what a great little hardware shop I have right on my doorstep!

I have been driving past this shop for years and to be honest I only popped in on the off chance to see I they sold paraffin, which they did, along with just about anything hardware related you might need.

I have been back several times and each time the staff have been friendly and helpful, and the prices are also very competitive.

Who needs Amazon delivering hardware the next day when you can get it the same day from here, with the bonus of dealing with real people and supporting a local business.

Needed a interior light for a fridge and special type of light bulb plus some bolts. All three in stock and at good prices. The member of staff that served me was polite, helpful and courteous. Will definitely be returning and can highly recommend.

Went to get some butane gas out of stock, took my phone number and gave me a call a few days later telling me it was back in stock very good customer service

Ronnie Barker's Open All Hours is alive and well in this great little shop. Seem to always have the odds bits of hardware you can't find anywhere else... Really helpful staff

Always go here to get keys cut, much cheaper than anywhere else, and far better service. Have never had a problem here. support your local stores.

I love this shop, what u need you get, if they hvnt got its not worth hving, staff are very helpful, anything they hvnt got they will try and get it for you. Definatly recommend.

What a brilliant find! Driven past McGann's so many times without noticing it, but I won't make that mistake again. Really helpful, knowledgeable staff and all the keys they cut for me worked straight away - which is a lot more than can be said for other key cutting places. A well earned 5 stars and many thanks.

The staff are so helpful. There isn't much they don't sell. Really good advice and knowledge. I only shop here for DIY items.

This is an excellent shop and really must try to use it over the convenience of the DIY supermarkets as very often they are cheaper. Thankbyou for being there when we need you.

I have used this shop for over 30 years and laugh with the now retired Ted that on 3 occasions he’s not had what I’ve needed !! Fantastic service excellent customer care and they always go the extra mile to help . Still the best service around from the son . If you don’t know “Teds” your not local 👍
