Beyond Retro Dalston

I've lived near this store since it opened 7 or 8 years ago but I've never entered until today. I always just imagined it was for hipsters and yuppies but turns out it has a bunch of vintage American sportswear in there too (which is just my kinda thing)! Apart from that, there's a ton of interesting and authentic gear for men and women that you probably won't find anywhere else. They ship in fresh stuff from America every week so there's always reason to pop back in. It might just become my new favourite shop!

Excellent displays, very well stocked store, items grouped in sections for a comfortable buying experience.

Very much on the expensive side... which will certainly stop me going again in the near future...otherwise I would have bought double the amount and it would be my GO TO place.
Shame about the high prices.

Apart from that, if you're okay with money, and want lots of preloved clothing...I highly recommend this place.

Didnt realise vintage clothes could be so reasonably priced. Got two great items under 25 each and loved how different they were to what i normally buy.

Naomi, Lisa and team - you are all wonderful! Naomi's expertise in fashion and care and time she put in to helping me find an outfit for a wedding was so brilliant. The team makes you feel so welcome, they are all so lovely and knowledgeable and the store itself has a great variety of attire for any occassion, would highly recommend this store! Love you! X

A great place, loads of interesting clothes, well selected and organised, and not bad prices. I picked up a couple of great Carhartt coats last time I popped in.
But, if I may make a suggestion? The outside of the shop is a mess. In fact, I worry that Beyond Retro cannot survive in this location, as they seem to be doing all they can to stop people noticing the shop, or wanting to go in. It’s invisible to causal passers by. What is it? A pop up charity shop? Some kind of warehouse? What you need is better window displays, and, most of all, a big, beautiful neon sign over the door.

Love this place! The friendly staff and amazing clothing make the whole shopping experience a lot of fun. Definitely recommend!

The staff was super nice. Their items are a bit pricey but the quality is great and there's really a lot to choose from. A great selection of hats and scarves too which is usually hard to find in retro stores. They also have a lot of adidas and branded items, deffo worth a visit.

I always find something amazing in this shop, whether searching for a day dress, winter jumper, a work shirt or party wear. Great range of accessories too and I like their own brand of (usually up-cycled) clothes and accessories. It’s a really big store so there is plenty for both women’s and men’s fashion and a wide range of styles and eras. It’s also consistently the best quality vintage clothing as with other places you find that lots of their items are damaged or stained. I’ve taken friends and family with me on shopping trips here and they have loved it and I always recommend to vintage shopping fans and my ethical shopping friends.

My favorite store of all the vintage stores in London, love the atmosphere, the staff are friendly, funny and helpful, the stock is up to date it's never too overcrowded so you can take your time and I always leave with something from here.It has a decent amount of 90s and 80s things for me. Changing rooms are clean and who doesn't like sitting on a sawn off guitar?

Loved it, my partner more-so however there's something for everyone from denim jeans, leather jackets, quirky vintage tops to psychedelic and floral dresses. There was 50% OFF on most items when we were there. Grab a bargain.

I bought my wedding dress here! Actually, I bought someone else's wedding dress here, cut the fluffy sleeves off, shortened it a bit and got married in it! Love this store, Great fur and vintage refurbish selection.

What's great about this place is the value and the nice stuff here. I think they turn over stock quite quickly so there is always something new in. Also so much of the stuff seems to be the same as a lot of the best new stuff except it's real stuff. Thanks.x

Absolutely love this place. It's so organized. the staff are so helpful too. some of the items could be a little cheaper, but you can definitely find something.

Huge vintage store with anything you can think of from dresses, shoes, bags, bow ties and rollerskates! Reasonably priced but it's priced at vintage rather than charity shop prices. Go get lost for an hour on there and see what happens.

Beyond Retro Dalston was incredible. They got some really good retro clothes and items. I was helped by Nick who was super helpful in getting me to get the right jean jacket. I’ve never been happier.

Totally amazing place where you can find a lot of colourful clothes in a nice quality and various patterns. I would recommend this place to people who appreciate originality and diversity. Very helpful stuff as well!

Love love LOVE this vintage superstore... They always supply on-trend pieces, party wear, accessories and endless rails of true original VINTAGE.... I could spend hours in here... And the staff are super friendly!!! 😍

Easily the best vintage shop in London. So organised... very sweet staff, and the cherry on the cake is that they do exchanges.

The staff in Beyond retro Dalton is amazing! He helped us for our 60/70 style perfect outfit from head to toe! It's just fanatastic vibe here!
