Wickes Halesowen

Just been to this store. They were really helpful. Opened boxes to let me see product and were knowledgeable about a different product which was on display, but no longer stocked.

My wife & I visited this Halesowen store last week and we were lucky enough to be assisted by Lewis. What a credit to the store and Wickes brand he is, polite and super helpful. Most of the items we required were kitchen clearance but that didn’t detract from his service, contacting other stores, suggesting alternatives from in store, re-figuring the design ideas he really went above and beyond to help us out.
Not the sort to normally write a review but this lad deserves it, well done Wickes having one of the best assistants we can recall from any type of retail.

Popped in to look at kitchens, was greeted by Greg within a few minutes but he let us look inpeave. We picked up a brochure from him before we left and found him very friendly and helpful. We'll be back when we're ready to order.

Excellent staff and nice store layout. I can ask a question without being made to feel like I can't unlike at the nearby B&Q store! Great customer service and products.

I went in today, totally blind to what floor paint I needed, jordy who works there, he’s Greek, helped me no end, when he finally got me the right paint he went out the back to find me the colour I wanted, he went above and beyond, he could easily have sent me on my way but he didn’t, fantastic customer service, a credit to wickes

Very pleasant and informative staff. Only went for a small roll of wire netting and garden fence panel. Thought the £4 delivery charge very reasonable. Received email notification of delivery time period. Expecting delivery shortly.

We went to see Greg Evans about our bathroom project. He designed a fantastic bathroom, spent over an hour making any adjustments we asked for and provided clear price options. I would highly recommend.

Great selection of stuff

Went specifically for a electric lawn strimmer.
Arrived at door and all laid out and marked out to covid regulations which staff and customers were adhering to.
Looked in specified area and did not show stock of what I was looking for.
Enquired at desk, young lady confirmed they had stock and proceeded to look in stockroom.
Had a good look but unable to find. She asked for assistance from a colleague. They both showed persiverence and eventually produced what I needed. Really pleasant staff and well mannered. They get my vote to go again rather than some of their rude competitors.

Excellent staff who were very knowledgeable and friendly. Store was well laid out and parking easy. No queue to get in either....unlike another similar store up the road! Overall, highly recommend.

Had to finish off some DIY projects whilst the weather was nice & found that my hammers had joined forces & gone for a walk.

We popped to Wickes for replacements & some other bits 'n' bobs. Whilst there we had a look at the price of wood, which seems in-line with what you would expect post-covid. Then we walked past the bricks & I thought to myself "another one?", which made my daughter chuckle.

Fantastic customer service from the moment we entered. My wife and I went in looking at kitchens... just to look and get and idea. After looking around for a few minutes a young man (cant recall his name) asked if he could help, answered all our questions and shouted us around the displays. After asking his some questions he couldn’t answer, he was honest and said he would fetch someone who could help us further. Within a minute or two Ann (the manager I believe) was with us. She was fantastic!! Answered every question we asked and even asked us some pretty important ones we had over looked - couldn’t of asked for more guidance and advice. We were then even more fortunate , Ann asked her colleague Aisha (designer) if she had a few minutes she could spare for us (we hadn’t booked and appointments - I understand this to me the normal process). Aisha again couldn’t have been more accommodating, took us through options , layout and possible features. Again asking us questions we hadn’t even though lot of. As we hadn’t booked our design slot we “made way” when Alisha’s next appointment arrived. Ann offered us a coffee and spent a few minutes making sure we were ok and if there was anything else she could do... fantastic lady!!! (She even pulled out some Maltesers and made my wife’s morning!) told us where we could go to get a coffee / some food locally if we wanted to see if Aisha could fit us in again between arranged meeting later that day. We ended up buying a kitchen that day. All round fantastic experience from the moment we walked in! I appreciate this may seem somewhat of an essay but it’s so refreshing to meet people in retail who are not only knowledgable and helpful but also make spending a large amount of money so enjoyable. We have promised to buy the flooring , tiles and extras from here as well as Ann has promised us a good deal. Couldn’t recommend this play more highly 10 out of 10. Sorry to the young man who first helped us when we arrived , we can’t remember you name.

Staff were very professional and courteous in helping me to acquire the items i required.

Came for 6 sheets of plaster board big thank you to the staff member who helped to put them on my roof rack. Excellent customer service. Pleasure to do business.

Called Halesowen store this morning 15th May for some help with PIR Boards.
Spoke to a lovely lady called Anne store manager.
Anne was very helpful nothing was to much trouble .
It was so refreshing speaking to a friendly member of your team.
Ive always said manners cost nothing.

Staff are excellent here .....very friendly considering the lock down ...bought 2 lovely worktops , one reduced with a slight chip and made up ...all in all nice experience....every staff member was great and unlike the B&Q with its car park full of customers waiting to get in i got in pretty quick here....bonus.

Had a appointment this morning with a very pleasant young lady called Aisha she was very friendly and professional, gave me a very competitive price for new kitchen and fitting. I would recommend this company.

No queues to get today. Plenty sanitizer etc

Absolutely fabulous customer service!! I went to B&Q first & was fobbed off so I went to the Halesowen branch of Wickes & got exactly what I wanted, cheaper with fab customer service. I am happy customer 😊😊
