A typical old fashioned hardware store, of the kind that do still exist in a few places. It's a real Alladin's cave of bits & pieces.

The owner knows exactly where everything is located, and is highly knowledgeable about the products. So much better than the impersonal DiY stores where staff seem to know so little and care less.

There is a small amount of parking outside, although this could easily fill up on busy days.

Locals should definitely support this shop; you'll miss it if it goes.

Closed down now but it used to have a beautiful collection of Hammers and aa batteries, cheerful counter staff would whistle as they served you, if there is a heaven, I hope to find Kingstanding Hardware up there. Kingstanding is not such a lovely hamlet nowadays.
