What a lovely little hidden gem this place is , we visited with my two teenage daughters and the service was outstanding, food was unreal, id highly recommend this bistro, plenty to choose from on the menu and a few cheeky cocktails too 😉 will definitely make a regular trip back.

Absolutely fantastic!, Came here for lunch after it was recommended by a work colleague, did a lovely walk from home in Haslingden, had a fantastic lunch and great stroll back. You can sit indoors or outdoors and being sat outdoors was wonderful, almost felt like being abroad. I has the Steak, red onion and brie ciabatta and the wife had steak and eggs, both were fantastic and almost tastes wood oven cooked ??. Staff were really polite and helpful and it was extremely easy to book a time online before went, was literally two clicks . Will definitely be returning with family and friends and may even let the kids try the pizzas if they are lucky !

Lovely place with great food. Popped in with a colleague for lunch and we weren't disappointed. The service was great, friendly and fast. I had the blackened chicken burger and it had just the right amount of bite. My colleague had the small breakfast and said that was lovely too. Will definitely be going back.

visit regularly just for a hot chocolate so went for the first time for food tonight and throughly enjoyed it. lovely food, fabulous milkshakes and Brooke is a huge credit to the place. 5*

Great little spot for some breakfast! Lady serving is lovely & very attentive. Delicious bacon sandwiches & hash browns! Lovely atmosphere despite not being local ourselves.

I was taken here by friends who live locally. I was mesmerised by the beautiful atmosphere and the fabulous food. Looking forward to my next visit already.

The owner I one of the most friendly and welcoming host I have ever had the pleasure to meet. Well worth a visit even if you have to travel a distance 👍

Staff are super friendly and the place has a real 'old world charm' while being nicely contemporary. Breakfast was excellent and very nice coffee.

Had an excellent experience tonight! Jess was a wonderful waitress, she couldn’t do enough for our group of 7 and really did go above and beyond. The food was great, reasonably priced and good portions, and there’s a lovely atmosphere. Would happily recommend The Village Store to anybody, and I will certainly be going back😁

Absolutely gorgeous food. We had the steak and eggs and a small breakfast today at mid day. The steak and eggs were cooked to perfection, just want to say a big well done to josh the chef, the breakfast was perfect too, the plates were warmed, the food was hot and fresh. My latte was lovely with an extra shot and extra hot as requested. The waitress seated us immediately even though we weren't booked in and was so polite and efficient

Visited on Sunday with my husband.
Excellent food, beautiful Sunday roast. My husband had pigs in blankets extra.
Waitresses very attending and friendly, great service from Chloe and Wicktoria, girls made sure that we won't leave hungry and unhappy. I will definitely come back again.

The food and staff here are amazing. The restaurant has a very good menu which would have something for everyone. This is the third time that We have been and have never had a bad visit. Many thanks to all your staff.

My daughter had a birthday meal with her friends here.
She loves this place. Always happy to accommodate fussy kids, friendly service and decent food at a good price.
Also good for us adults with a good atmosphere and dog friendly if you want your left overs polishing off.
Big shout out for Brooke - super helpful, friendly and a big smile for the customers.

Brilliant place, was there 7/09 and had a fabulous meal, the fillet steak melted in your mouth / the service was great and really helpful and friendly

Fantastic. Great service and absolutely delicious Sunday roast beef dinner. Couldn't clear my plate (very unusual for me) and excellent value for money. Definitely returning.

I've visited a few times before and it's always been nice. I took my family today to try for the first time. Both my sister and mum are very fussy but both loved the food, atmosphere and service. Jess was great. Food was tasty and it was well worth the money 😊xx
