Invaluable local grocery store +lots more ...amazon collection hub which is fab, close to walk to for anything you forgot with the weekly shopping. Staff always willing to help, friendly.

Visited to send some parcels. Excellent customer service. Short term parking right outside the shop. The shop itself is very well stocked. Wish we had a Nearys in Rawtenstall!!

What an excellent local shop been in the family years lovely and clean big selection of magazines and newspapers there's some local guide books etc.. the staff and family that run the shop are very nice hard working people..

What a great store, I was able to stock up on all my Lancashire favourites for my return trip down South. The pies are delicious!

Always helpful and usually has everything you need

Great local store and very much at the heart of the Helmshore community. A family run business which has been here for decades, they offer a good selection of grocery items, alcohol and general household essentials. Dvd rentals and freshly baked produce (including bread and pies) are available. Naturally Nearys also sells sweets, tobacco, newspapers etc. Staff are lovely and the checkout workers are always youngsters from the local community. Excellent little place and a rarity in today's world of faceless supermarkets.

Although I now live in Pendle I'm originally from Helmshore so whenever I re-visit the area this shop is always one of my first stops. Friendly staff, good choice of goods and reasonable prices, especially for a "village shop".

Pat Neary is lovely with my kids, who, as a reward for good school work, choose to be treated to a trip to Nearys for some penny sweets. On our last visit, Pat gave my eldest a shiny special limited edition Beatrix Potter 50p in her change which made the occasion extra special. Lovely family run shop.

Brilliant service. Staff always really helpful. Been shopping here for around 15 years not much has changed the service quality is still just as good with each new staff member
