Ros is brilliant and such a genuinely kind person. She always remembers our kids' names and is so warm to them. The shop is just a fabulous treasure for the village, which wouldn't be the same without it.

Great place for your daily essentials and post office needs. However please avoid going around 10am as there is a rush of people using the post office service and as it's all built into one shop the que can get long very quickly. Apart from that you can buy lovely local veg and meat and also purchase some tasty Dartmoor gin. The price for items is very reasonable and offer a great range if pick and mix sweets for children in a lovely old town. I visit once a year to clear my head and I would say it's a lovely hidden gem in Devon.

Managed to diagnose and fix a fuzzy barcode problem with my parcels by printing new labels. The Totnes Fore St post office had earlier been no help at all! Thanks very much Roz. “It pays to go local”

Definitely was always a 5* visit in the past. Loved to support local services and the perfect customer service you got. But what a shame that you are not allowed to use the little car park anymore to visit this and the other businesses nearby. This is due to the selfishness of unthoughtful drivers who took advantage of the parking, according to the very nasty women who had a go at us when we tried to park in the little car park. Walking to these businesses not an option due to the now heavy traffic. Will miss the friendly service from all as the alternative is not so friendly and the goods not a patch on the Stoke Gabriel Stores for quality.
