Only way I could post a comment to a review 3 days ago was to write a review myself. Baltic Wharf has a female manager so I don't know who you spoke to but it wasn't the Manager.

Due to a pain of road closure rite near the shop I thought I'd phone ahead to see if they had what I needed , polite person on the fone an he even checked while I was on the fone to makes sure it was in shop so I didn't waste my journey , THANKYOU

Convenient location, open late with all the essentials. Some good deals and good choice of wine!

One reviewer complained about "trash" which is rather odd. Does she expect the shop to keep all trash inside on garbage collection dates?

Also rodents outside aren't this business' responsibility. She should direct her complaints to the authorities responsible for that. 😑

A convenient location for those working on the island.
The staff are a mixed bunch and a shame about the daft graffiti!
There are hot snack options as well as coffee.
The alcohol section is absurdly large for the size of the store but such is often the case in these corner shops.
Expect average to high prices especially on taxed items such as cigarettes.

Improved a lot and now stocking a range of Morrisons products. Full and working refrigerators now. I will certainly come back and give the store 4* if it continues!

Handy shop

McColl's seems like a brand from the 1970s. I wasn't tempted by the reheated pasties or off looking sandwiches. There's little in the way of healthy options or fresh food. It's a shame as this is the only corner shop near my office. All of the "fresh" goods look half-way to rotten. There's usually bin bags and old newspapers everywhere outside. I'd honestly prefer a Tesco local over this relic of another era.
