La Tiendita - Mexican Food & Candy Products

One day I was looking for Mexican ingredients not easily findable in London, google suggested me this store, so I came to have an idea, but at first sight there was only a common off licence managed by two Indian women, so I thought that the web direction wasn’t true, but checking properly I realised that the Mexican grocery was inside the off licence, so I entered but there weren’t the ingredients I was looking for; at a point one of the ladies asked me for help and I told them about the ingredients I was looking for, she noted down and had a call, after that she assured me to wait for 5 minutes, I waited and in 5 minutes a danish man came with all the stuff I needed.
The most important thing that I have to give credit is absolutely the respect and the patience they had with me customer, that I can say it’s no something you can find easily in London. And as a chef, I’m very happy in finding this Mexican store, that will be always my first reference point every time I’ll have to cook Mexican!

I’m originally from New York and I am Latina. When I first moved to the UK a year ago, I was in North Wales in the middle of a food desert. The first time I received my order from La Tiendita I was ecstatic because I could finally eat something with flavor aka my home cooking 😅 While in Liverpool I also made an order to make my Tibetan housemates tostadas de tinga. I recently moved to London. The food is substantially better here but the Mexican restaurants I have tried… are disappointing to say the least. So I decided to start my own small catering business and La Tiendita has been extremely supportive and offered me wholesale prices which I extremely appreciate. Thank you guys for existing and for personally delivering my last order so the tostadas wouldn’t break. I look forward to doing more business with you guys 🫱🏻‍🫲🏼

I order online from here. The shipping is fast, and I get exactly what I order. I have never had a problem with Latiendita. It is really Nice finding authentic mexican products in the UK!

I've been shopping at La Tiendita, online and at the point of sale in London, since 2013 and all I can say it that their customer service is 5 stars. They always responsive and go above and beyond to always make things right. Sometimes can be a delay due to multiple reasons, but we as customers understand that all the products take take to come all the way from Mexico, and also the challenges with all the delivery companies in the UK. Thank you La Tiendita, for bringing the best of Mexico to the UK.

I order online and the products arrive on time, the authentic Mexican candies are delicious and fresh! The store is also very convenient, one stop shop and you have all the ingredients you need to make a delicious meal! The owners truly know what the customers needs are and they are super nice people, I wouldn’t shop anywhere else!

I ordered with 24hr delivery not knowing it had to be before 10am(The order was for a birthday dinner next night). They went out of their way to get my order together before deliveries were picked up and let me know via text that it was on its way. Very satisfied and definitely fulfills my need for authentic Mexican/American ingredients!!!

Fantastic customer service from start to finish. I've ordered my daughter a 13th birthday Varity box as per her request. It arrived very quick and has a very special card along side for her 😁 thank you again. Unfortunately no pics as it's a surprise

I'm crazy about Mexican food so La Tiendita is such a valuable resource. They are incredibily helpful, the service is top notch. This is my go to place for tomatillos, chipotles in adobo, mexican corn flour and chillies. Fully recommend!

Whenever my In-laws visit the UK, the first place I go to is La Tiendita! I highly recommend the Tamales Tamayo. I tried them and love them! I also recommend visiting them if you are in the area. The couple who I believe run the business are so friendly and warming as you enter. A well deserved 5 stars :)

Good array of favorite Mexican brands: sauces, salsas, refritos, masa, and candies that are nearly impossible to source most other placed are affordably priced. Service was kind and patient, and yes they do have a bottle opener on hand to assist with that Mexican cola. Worth the effort to get there.

What a lovely shop to buy my Mexican groceries. The shop is well stock and the owners are amazingly friendly.
I have also bought stuff online and the services is really profesional, everything arrived well packed and quickly.

I wanted to make my first Birria so needed dry chiles etc that I couldn't find at my local supermarket, and this website came up. I ended up ordering a few items and was pleased with the ordering process. You get quite a lot for your money and everything was packaged really well. Would recommend 👌

Finding good quality mexican products in London IS NOT EASY. La Tiendita goes above and beyond with their selection of mexican goods. I have bought products from them multiple times. Sandra is always looking for ways to try to bring more stuff over. I haven't had any bad experiences and I highly recommend buying from them! :)

The only store in London with a wide variety of authentic mexican products. The frozen tortillas are amazing! Also the fresh tomatillos, serranos and poblanos imported from Mexico! You cannot find these products anywhere in London.
I have visited the shop in Fulham and also shopped online, and the customer service from her owner is above and beyond!
