Would highly recommend for new runners. Staff were incredibly helpful, made sure I found the right shoe with many different options. Gait analysis included to help decide the right shoe.

Have only recently started running and had suspicions about my feet turning in and needing more support so came in for gait analysis but got so much more from that! Can’t recommend George enough - he has patience, knowledge and a good sense of humour and made me feel so confident with what I need to do to improve my run and work with my awkward feet. I am excited to wear my new trainers on their first run!

Amazing service from Ian who made us feel at ease when purchasing with a great knowledge base - GAIT analysis was quick and easy to go through for desired results. Can’t beat that level of customer service on a very busy Saturday afternoon. Will return for my next pair when needed.

Fantastic experience at Up & Running Cambridge. As a someone with a petite frame, the shop assistant was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful in finding me a hydration vest that fitted properly. Really recommend this shop, great staff and fair prices.

Super helpful staff, even when the store is absolutely full they are patient and attentive and don't rush you. I came in to learn more about specific running shoes and test my gait. Had a fantastic experience at Up and Running today. I have been struggling to find a suitable pair of trainers, and today I have come away with two great pairs! George was incredibly patient, and gave great advice. I felt as if I was being listened to, even when my questions may have been confusing! The gait analysis was also very thorough, and George talked me through the whole process.

Ordered a pair of salomon speedcross 6s, leaving the country soon (thought they wouldnt arrive in time) and customer service shipped my order really quick and were very helpful! Thanks a lot very happy!

Outstanding customer service yesterday. The woman who served me was exceptionally patient, knowledgeable and supportive and gave me information about switching to more stable shoes to prevent injury. She did this without pressuring me to change. I will definitely get my next pair of shoes from here

Following the closure of Advance Performance and the discontinuation of my go to running shoes, I was forced to find alternative arrangements. Up and Running were nearest and after a positive conversation on the phone I went in to replace my worn out shoes.

They were very helpful, providing a selection of shoes and the chance to get a feel for them on their treadmill. They even secured a bit of a discount on the pair I settled on. First time out this morning and they were very comfortable.

Great service and my next pair of pounders will be coming from Up and Running.

I visited a couple of weeks ago to buy some new trainers after recovering from a foot injury caused by running in very old trainers. I cannot recommend the store highly enough. They checked my gait on the treadmill, listened to how much I run and recommended suitable trainers. My new pair are so comfy and like running on air. I am now back out running again building it back up slowly and no recurring problems from the injury.

Virgin runner here. Had bought some trainers for the gym about 8 years ago in one of the big name sports shops, 5 to 10 min job, in/out.
Recently set myself a long(ish) term goal which meant I was going to need a decent pair of running shoes so decided to go to this specialist shop instead. And am I happy that I did! Their customer service and attention to detail is exemplary. I was neither hurried nor harried regarding my choice. And their guidance was brilliant. They ensured that what I chose fit well, give me the support I need and encouraged me in my goals. Been out for my 1st few shorts runs in them and am very pleased with the results. Many thanks.

This place is ridiculously good. The employee just spent 30 minutes helping me to choose the perfect shoes and he was extremely knowledgeable and nice. Truly awesome place.
