Little surf shop on the high street of Rhosneigr. Has a nice range of kids and adults clothes and water sports equipment. Also has hire prices to use down on the beach which we’re very reasonable.

I had a ‘big’ birthday late last year and decided that I would like to try paddle boarding and for my birthday present my husband said that he would buy the kit and paddle board for me.
Now seemed like a good time to get started before summer.
We went to Gecko in Rhosneigr and we started to look at wet suits but didn’t know much about them.
A wonderful assistant (Jane) offered to help and we accepted.
Wow! She was so helpful. She explained about the different wetsuits for different uses.
She found one for me to try and explained how to pull it on properly. She checked that it was the right size and fitting for me.
She then helped with a life jacket and shoes.
We were so happy. She gave me lots of hints and tips about paddle boarding.
We are going to buy a paddle board and book lessons with them.
What started off as a quite daunting prospect to me was made very straightforward.
Thoroughly recommend this shop and Jane gets 10 stars out of 5. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Absolutely fantastic place. Really friendly and knowledgeable staff. As for lessons, surfing, paddle boarding and so on, my son who is autistic had a paddle boarding lesson with instructor Steth. He absolutely loved it, and Steth was so patient and explained everything properly and easily.

Will definitely be back, as it's only a little over 2 hour drive here for us. 👍🏻

Absolutely amazing place. My son absolutely loved his time paddle boarding today The instructor stephen was amazing with him and the group. Can not recommend Gecko enough. £40 for a lesson and also all the equipment. Excellent value.

Booked a surf lesson for myself and my partner. Really helpful friendly staff in the shop and our instructor Stef was brilliant! Pre-booking was easy on the phone, on the day was organised and I managed to surf some waves! Thank you, we will definitely be back!

Excellent service provided by the staff. Board hire and wetsuit hire was at an affordable price.

The staff knew thier stuff about the surf conditions and the best spots to go.

I'd definitely recommend using them again.

Had a Paddle Boarding lesson in Rhosneigr with Nick from Gecko last month - it was AMAZING! We had so much fun!! Would highly recommend - I'm local and it's given me another way to enjoy my home turf!! Diolch Gecko!

Excellent friendly professional service, from email enquiry to post lesson chat.
Nick was a great teacher, ensuring all in group had 121 instruction while in the sea, as well as being included in part of group session on beach.
