Homebase - Derby Chaddesden

Would like to shout out to Douglas and Rachel for going the extra mile. Douglas was so helpful and got me to learn about different blades for a jigsaw and helped me over and above. Rachel stuck to her word and called me, got the wood in and called me again to let me know it had arrived. Top class customer service !!! Hope you both get an award x

I had decided to come to Homebase to compare their kitchen range to others that we had quotes from, and ended up buying a kitchen from them due to their expertise. I had quotes from Howdens and B&Q and was just popping into Homebase as a final check on prices, however the service I received from Susan Johnson was amongst the best I've ever experienced. Her insight and talent for kitchen design were second to none and she gave me real reassurance when making such a large purchase. I would recommend Homebase and particularly Susan to anybody, she made my kitchen update so much better than I could have ever imagined, and was the differentiating factor compared to the other kitchens I'd looked at.

I visited your store today to buy a fluorescent light tube. I wasn’t sure on the sizes, but two advisors a Gary and a Joanne were very helpful and steered me in the right direction as to which tube I wanted.. I will definitely be visiting your Store again.

Been here quite a few times since Christmas 2023 and every single visit has been pleasant. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Has made me want to return time and time again.

Could not find what I wanted. A stacker left what he was doing and found it for me fast. Cheerful helpful and efficient.

Love this shop, excellent in every way, I did click and collect, they even rang me about my order as one roll of paper was same batch number but different shade number. I picked it up same day. Had 2 rolls over, took back and refunded. This shop is amazing for customer care.

Quick visit to get an incinerator bin. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

Great place for some very good deals. They got pretty much everything you will expect from big Diy store but plus is furniture and you can get some really good deals available only in store. Staff is super nice!!

Working with the public in this day and age is an absolutely thankless task, we are all becoming short tempered, impatient and want things immediately - my husband and I are occasionally included in this description, however, the Manager from Chaddesden went absolutely above and beyond to deliver a product my husband has ordered from this store. The gentleman's name was Kulley, I really hope he sees this review as the link he told me to use (Feels Good to be Heard) kept crashing.

Excellent staff. I went during social distancing restrictions, the staff were very helpful and followed the restrictions perfectly.
A staff member monitoring store numbers at the entrance was also letting people know what was sold out so they didn't have to bother queuing unnecessarily.
Trolleys were cleaned and ready to go at the entrance.
Very impressed.

Came into see Jo to design our new Kitchen for us, she was absolutely brilliant very professional listened to what we wanted, didn’t rush us or put any pressure on us to push the sale through. Needed a few amendments doing the next day and she was happy to do so without any fuss whatsoever. Great customer service and friendly staff at the store. Thank you.
