Wickes Norwich

Popped into the Norwich branch of Wickes this cold, dark, January evening to have a look a kitchen worktops. Lauren who was in the kitchen showroom department asked if she could help me. She really is a credit to your company. She explained the different worktops available and was enthusiastic without being pushy.
I left feeling much more confident about choosing the right worktop for my kitchen and with smile on my face. Really good customer service 👍🏻

Visited here today for information on internal doors. Spoke to Luke he sieved through all possibilities untill he found the information I needed. Helpful patient customer focussed ...well done and thank you Luke

Massive shout out to Darryl Purcell!
He Help me and my Fiancé design and buy our new kitchen for our new home.
We had been to other kitchen places before coming to wickes, a lot of other places looked down on us due to our budget and age. (We are a young couple) They wouldn't give us the time of day.

But Darryl took the time to listen to us and helped us stay within budget and be able to actually enjoy the kitchen buying process! He helped us utilise space really effectively!
He was extremely patient with us as stuff with the new house kept getting delayed.
He replied very promptly to us when we messaged with a question and when we sit down to discuss the kitchen he always had a hot chocolate ready for me!

Please if you're considering a new kitchen go to Wickes and ask for Darryl, he is so lovely to have worked with!

Easy to get to on the ring road, good parking and a brand new ( as of 2019 ) store in great condition. Good prices, not exactly a big selection of power tools though. Not a million miles away from b & q also on the ring road in case you cant get what you need.

It wasn't as bad as I had expected. Despite the current social distancing measures in place, shopping here wasnt that traumatic an experience. I came down for some doors which according to the website,were in stock. However, they were not on the shop floor but in the warehouse. But due to health and safety regulations, they are not allowed to use the fork lift during trading hours or when the public are around, so I had to pay for them via click and collect for the next day. It's something to bear in mind if you pop down there expecting to take away large items.

Ordered a load of blocks, sand and cement on the click and collect option online. I placed the order at about 10.30pm and I got a text at 8.01am to say it was ready. Got there to find the whole lot loaded onto 2 trolleys waiting for me. A young lad on the C+C counter was very helpful and helped me to the van with it. BIG parking bays for van out the front.

Okay I have been to Wickes much to much lately. Again nicely laid out, seems to stock just what you need. The click and collect option can be a good idea to ensure your item is ready and waiting for you.
Staff are always happy and helpful.

Staff are very helpful, knowledgeable and very cheerful - something which makes the shopping trip far more enjoyable and testament to the way I assume they are treated and respected by management. Products are clearly priced and the store was very clean and tidy.

Recently had an appointment to design our new kitchen with Darryl, well what can I say, Darryl was amazing. He listened to exactly what we wanted and put it in place. He is extremely experienced and answered all the questions we chucked at him. He would take his time and show us the different types of door handles etc we could have, nothing was too much to ask for. Darryl made us feel at ease from the start, very caring and friendly gentleman. If you need to book in a design appointment make sure you book with Darryl, you will not be disappointed!

Click and collect... Very quick.. Plenty of parking. Parent and child parking too.
And very helpful staff helped me take 5 Sacks of gravel to my car and load it in the car too 😁
Amazing! Customer service!

Used click and collect, the items were ready in about 20 minutes. Just went to the deck to collect, very easy and convenient process. The quality of product from wickes is always good at good good prices. Can't fault them.

After having a terrible morning I checked on line if Wickes had what I needed then called the store and checked availability. Charlotte who took the call confirmed the items were in stock and confirmed she would be happy to help on my arrival to purchase all the items required.
Having already visited Homebase to find they were closing for a refit and could not help. I then visited B&Q who I must say had a quite a few staff but none willing to even acknowledge my presences I had all but given up.
I just wish I had gone to Wickes first.
On arriving at the store I was assisted by members of staff who help me find what I needed to refit two bathrooms. They even carried all the heavy boxes to my car.
You' ll be my first call in future.

Great new store, good products and very helpful staff. Love their 15% off offer and that it has been extended through February. Much better quality goods than B&Q & Homebase.

Click and Collect service was smooth from start to finish.
Lovely lady on the checkout was pleasant and chatty and helped me promptly with a smile.

Excellent customer service, so helpful,I'd rather shop here every day of the week then go to B+Q.picked up another jumbo bag of sand from goods in,forklift driver so helpful.

We had our Wickes kitchen installed by their recommended installer, Keith Moore, and his workmanship was excellent, as was the quality of the units/worktops supplied. Overall, a very positive purchase and installation experience.

Excellent service from home visit to appointment in showroom.
Looking forward to our new bathroom.
