The Village Shop

I often get deliveries sent here and send many packages from here. The staff are always so friendly and helpful. Always a pleasure to visit, has the feel of a proper old school village shop. Great wine selection and stocked with pretty much all your household essentials. Great little shop

Had to collect three parcels, but hadn’t received the codes I needed to be able to be given them. I was frustrated, but both gentlemen that served me (should have got their names!), were beyond patient, helpful and kind. Even more so because me not receiving the codes for collection had nothing to do with them. Huge thank you to them for truly going above and beyond - it was really appreciated 🙌

Thanks for continued service and your long hours. Good well stocked and friendly staff. The odd covid denier pops in like all shops but they are 1% minority. Maybe ' Plod' will walk in for a sandwich and deniers will not return?

This is one of the best places in Sandgate for all your small shop and big shop needs. Great people, great service and great selection of produce, really has been invaluable during the past few months but we have been regulars for the past few years, thanks to everyone that works here for being so lovely, reliable and always open.

Just asking on here the village shop need too open a bit longer then 8pm as well but I saw the other reviews on here but Iam not too complined about the shop but if eny one agrees with me I don’t minded if you disagree at all I don’t mind about other people opinions but I really do ok

I live in Folkestone and went to The Village Shop in Sandgate because they have Hermes post, the staff were very helpful and I thought it was a lovely local shop that are hard to come by nowadays, great 👌
