Co-op Food - New Eltham

My little sister was being followed on her way home and phoned me (I am in South East Kent, many miles away). I asked her what was nearby and told her to run to any open shop or business. She ran to this Co-Op and approached a staff member. She explained she was walking home and being followed and asked if she could wait inside while she phoned her boyfriend. She was panicked and crying. I heard the member of staff tell her that she was safe and reassuring her. She was then taken aside and kept company by 2 members of staff who looked after her till the police arrived. I will be phoning in the morning to thank them personally for keeping my sister safe and trying to make her feel comfortable.

Thank you Sue for being your amazingly, friendly self. I moved here 5 yrs ago not knowing anyone; but you have always had time to give a kind word/interact with me even when you were busy. Thank you Steve for always taking the time to chat and put a smile on my face

I get fresh fruit here and they have great selection-raspberties strawberries , grapes bananas is what I normally get
What I've bought has always been fresh. No problems here at all.

The cue went down one isle and up the other was expecting to wait a good 20 minutes but was waiting for 5minutes quickest cue fighting shop I know peoples baskets were full to the top had great customer service aswell also the self services had a member of staff standing beside them ready to help you for when they said you requested help this Co-op deserves an award.

Went into Co op this evening and I must say there was a really helpful member of staff. Dan. I asked him for a few things that wasn't on the shelf and he went out of his way to get the items I needed. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Very convenient opening times. Never had to wait for self scan checkout. Decent selection of Beer & Wine. The Co-op fairtrade Malbec is great

Struggling with supplies of late but this place is a gem and usually has all the main bits you need. Staff are always very nice too.

Nice store have a good range price is reasonable for the area staff are lovely and polite considering the amount of abuse they receive off people.

Great choice of food and beverages.
Great customer service.
Members are really privileged.

People on here moaning about long queues. It's New Eltham so you have to put up with commuters unfortunately. Yes the choice isn't great and a bit pricey but ok if you need to pick something up.

Early evening visit on a Saturday to get a cucumber and spring onions for Chinese Duck pancake rolls.. quite a few empty shelves due to the Brexit delivery driver issue so no spring onions but got these at the Nisa supermarket a few doors down.

Very good convinced store. Close time very late. Reasonable price. Polite staffs. Fresh food. Next to station

Convenient local store next to New Eltham Train station. Everything you need and friendly helpful staff.

Convenient and lots of choice but more expensive than the other express shops.
