Well if this review doesn't tell you how much I love this store.... Then hopefully this wardrobe picture will!! Everything I own 50s is from pocket watch and petticoats. I will never buy from another store!!! Already collected a free dress and on my way to a second one! This store fills me with joy every single time I step into their shops! A shame to close the Ipswich branch, but if you ever looking to expand to Norwich I will happily help staff the store 😅. Keep doing what your doing! Your amazing ❤❤❤❤

I love this shop! I love the dresses, the shoes, all the accessories, everything. But what makes it such a great place to visit is the manage, the staff and the owners. Popping in to Pocket Watches & Petticoats is a whole new shopping experience you need to discover for yourself. To me it's like popping in to see old friends and you are always welcomed like friends. It is definitely my favourite shop in Cambridge

Are you ready to be teleported back to a simpler and happy time? Well if you can't the next best thing is to come here and try on some beautiful and comfortable (my wife told me they were comfortable, I have not personally tried them on) dresses that will have your wallet feeling a tad bit lighter. Most of the dresses have pockets as well! Prices are very reasonable for the quality of the dresses or shoes. 4 dressing rooms available. Very friendly and helpful owner/manager.

Kim has been very amazing, the greatest customer service I have met, sweet, kind, fun, a great sense of humour, very knowledgeable about her products, a blessed experience 🙏.

Her dresses are designed and made in the UK and she ships as well if need be! The dresses are colourful, well styled, very flattering and honestly a joy to try and wear 😊. The 40s-50s vibes of the styles and shop give a lovely feminine atmosphere where one can feel at ease to try something with no judgement.

She has dresses with different sleeves, neckline, cleavage, and with more subtle or bold patterns, colours that can fit every carnations 😍, one can find one's outfit there 💛. It was a delight to go through all of them and see the beauties she was selling 🤩. And she has a wide range of sizes too! Perfect for petite and curvy ladies 👏! For A shapes, 8 shapes, V shapes, Kim can found you something that will be very flattering on you and that will make you feel like a queen 👸.

And if dresses are one one's style, she has trousers, petticoats, jumpsuits, tops, you can really find something. And the accessories are adorable and cute, from sunglasses to earrings, from belt to absolutely super comfortable shoes (team wide feet and big sizes shoe size here 😅. She goes up to 42!).

A must stop on a visit to Cambridge, it gives one joy just by looking at the entrance 🥰. Thank you Kim for taking the time to dress me and to make comfortable, I am very grateful 💛.

I went into the shop just to have a look. The nice gentleman saw me holding a dress and showing it to my friend and he told me that it didn't suit me and showed me a dress that would. He knew my size without telling him. He recommended an underneath skirt and something for the hair. A few weeks later I went back again and got some shoes and a handbag. Thus time with a help from a nice young lady. The staff there are so warm and friendly. The dress I bought is for a wedding to my son's. In the new year I will go again.

This shop caught my eyes the moment I saw it. There are a lot of nice dresses. I didn’t buy one, unfortunately. I would love to visit again next time and purchase one.

Really nice vintage clothing store! They carry some well known brands, but also have their own line of clothing! Was able to score a great dress.

The staff is a little pushy unfortunately.

I have a problem to find nice and fitting clothes for myself in my country, everything nice is only in smaller sizes so when I saw this shop in Cambridge I wanted to check. They had even bigger sizes so suddenly I felt like I can wear nice things. I bought two dresses, two petticoats and belts. Never felt this pretty and good in my life. My friend saw the dresses and wanted one for herself so I returned to the shop after few hours. Fifi was very sweet and helpful, made me feel welcomed and that I deserve looking good even though I am plus size. So sad that Brexit happened so it would be harder to get these dresses to EU. I was in Cambridge only for one week and at least 5-7 people on the street and in the hotel told me how they love my dress. Then few other people on the airport told me the same. Thank you for boosting my confidence and that I can finally wear nice things and feel good.

I have trouble finding clothes that make me feel fabulous in my size. Pocket Watch & Petticoats changed that! Ended up with 6 amazing outfits and a pair of shoes. They are so comfortable to wear and I love how I feel every time I wear one.

Second time in the shop and each experience has been amazing. I didn't catch the name of the shop owner but he was brilliant. I usually don't like shopping but this experience was awesome. He was able to name my size and knows what will look fab. I felt fabulous! Can't wait to go back!

Simply a beautiful shop with the most gorgeous and feminine 40s/50s style dresses, but with a modern twist . Whatever your shape, there is something here to flatter. The outfits in the window & on the rails are so appealing - I tried on a few dresses and felt fabulous, which is not something that happens very often! Fab accessories, coats and shoes too. The staff are attentive, friendly and helpful. I only wish I lived closer, but will be heading back for a wedding outfit for my daughter's wedding next year. Oh, and the prices are highly reasonable IMHO! As one other reviewer said, I wish I could have bought everything in the shop!

Absolutely amazing. The clothes are gorgeous and the staff so helpful, the lady who helped me (sadly didn't get her name) was so kind and enthusiastic, helping me pick out an outfit and advising on styles and sizes. First time in a long while that I've tried something on and felt so beautiful. Will definitely be ordering from them!

Dragged into this shop but absolutely loved it and the experience. The shop assistant was so enthusiastic and encouraging, with plenty of suggestions to accessorise and try on a complete outfit. I felt wonderful and very pretty that I bought the whole outfit and a bunch of other accessories to go with my dresses at home. I will definitely be back!

One of my favorite shops for vintage style dresses! They have various different cuts and patterns and plenty of accessories to choose from. Everything is really high quality and the fabrics they use are nice. The staff is really friendly and helpful. However, the prices are high, most dresses are £65 and petticoats are £40. If you want one or two really nice dresses for special occasions and a petticoat that looks nice with both, I highly recommend this shop, but buying several dresses and petticoats can put you down several hundred pounds really quickly.

Excellent customer service at this shop. Love my maroon thru pink on ivory flowered dress and petticoat. Got great compliments. I'll buy again.
