Co-op Food - Northampton - Upton Place

Excellent small supermarket and convenience store on the edge of Upton. Plenty of choice on offer in this covid compliant store. The staff are friendly and working hard to keep food on our tables. Floor markings keep everyone safe and there are self service tills if you prefer. I walked over a mile to get there but it's worth it. Especially for the special deals that they advertise on TV. It's a great alternative to the big supermarkets.

Food has always been of top quality whenever i go there, most reliable shop for me and very easily navigational. The service is also something good to talk on, especially from Renee who has been extremely friendly and hardworking when helping me find certain things within the shop! 10 10!

Amazing customer service from a lady called laura, so helpful when I asked where something was. She was full of smiles. Love it when you get a staff member who actually looks like they want to help you. 5364

Great addition to the Upton development. Just opened and as such is bright, clean and well stocked. Fully licenced to sell alcohol. Seems to have a good range of produce including fruit, veg and even fresh flowers. Multiple self scan checkouts available as well as kiosk service. Management seemed friendly on opening/preview night.

Always a good selection of food and drink. Stocked daily. Covid rules in place. Staff friendly and helpful.

Pretty clean, usually quiet. Bit of a rush at lunchtimes as students from neighbouring school often come in groups. No baskets, which is annoying.

Varied selection with reasonable prices for the area. Staff were a bit robotic but friendly enough. Clean and tidy Inside. Overall an above average experience. Something about coop that keeps you coming back for more.

A convenient addition to north Upton with a decent community focus. You of course pay a convenience store 'fee' for shopping here but it does well in a pinch.

From personal experience it's best for last-minute bottles of wine as they don't seem to have their prices inflated too much. And Co-op actually states on the front label when wines are suitable for vegans: fantastic and something every brand should do! They also sell Maule beer here, thank goodness.

If buying own-brand stuff you get a small amount off when using a Co-op loyalty card. Worth signing up to if you live nearby!
