Loved this shoe shop, which we stumbled on by accident! The boots were lovely, and the owner was attentive and very friendly. I mentioned some boots I used to have and had worn out, and she worked out which brand they were and dug out a pair from the back for me! Definitely will be dropping in next time we are in Cambridge ❤

This is my 'go to' shop for footwear. I have many pairs of boots, shoes, sandals and slippers from Modish. Sarah has a great eye for choosing cool but comfortable styles. One of my favourite footwear designers is Papucei and I have 2 pairs of these boots from Modish: they have been worn to death but I cannot bear to part with them. What more can I say ... if you're looking for something unusual that won't break the bank, Modish is your place!

Despite working in the same street I don't get to visit Modish very often BUT I recommend this fabulous shop to any person/client I can.... the most beautiful and comfortable shoes/boots/sandals you could wish for. Even the heels are comfortable on the slightly aging foot!

Modish is fabulous for comfortable, long-wearing shoes, as well as fabulous heels. I bought boots there several years ago and they are still wearing well. I’ve returned many times for everything from work heels to daily flats. The staff are professional, especially Sarah, and will help you find the perfect fit. The one time I had a defective pair, no questions asked they were exchanged. I’ve recommended it to my mum and friends and all have been equally impressed. A great store and feels better to shop local than at a chain!

I have loved this shop for years and it never disappoints with its fabulous range with brands you can never find in mainstream stores. I visited before Christmas having had a long love affair (through the window) with the most beautiful boots. The lady who served me was lovely, helpful and I left with my dream boots and could not have been happier! Please support independent shops like these, they are absolutely what we need on our high street!

Without doubt the best shoe shop around. Such a great range of footwear, I've loved every pair I've ever had from Modish (and that's quite a few!). Also worth saying the customer service is exceptional - Sarah really knows her stuff!

Visited Modish in Cambridge and bought 3 pairs of shoes for my sister. The lady in the shop (very attractive, in her 40s, might've been the owner?) was extremely helpful, friendly and informative. I rarely write reviews, but would recommend this outlet to everyone due to the personable service. My sister was delighted with the assistant's choices too!

Modish is the only place I buy my shoes. Excellent range and styles of shoes which are not available from other places in Cambridge. The shop owner is very friendly and offers the individual shopping experience you only get with local independent businesses.

This is a fantastic little shoe shop. I have bought numerous pairs of shoes from here over the past few years and they have all fit brilliantly (Sarah is always on hand to advise which styles come up small or large) and lasted really well, making them good value for money. Now, whenever I need a new pair of shoes, this always the first place I go!

I have know Modish for many years and there is absolutely no one who knows and understands the shoe trends better, Sarah is so passionate about her customers and helping them find just the right choice of footwear for any occasion. A wonderful oasis of shoe loving fun for anyone and a brilliant place to buy those surprise presents for the lady in your life! It's not like normal shoe shopping, it's an experience. Always a fantastic choice of shoes on offer and the lovely Sarah to help you make a (usually) difficult choice as you love so many of them! I love shopping in Modish - if you've not been, you should try it too.

I absolutely adore shopping at Modish as the owner, Sarah Decent, has managed every time to find the perfect shoes for my imperfect feet! I have flat feet and Bunyans & I struggle to find comfortable shoes, Modish & Sarah manage to combine style with comfort in the best colours! Plus the shop is in the most idyllic street ... hurry & visit ASAP ...

I've never shopped at Modish - that's not surprising, I've not yet found the urge to wear women's shoes. However I have known Sarah Decent for a number of years. When I was running a local business I'll always remember how supportive and helpful Sarah was. She went out of her way to help me and I could see that she went out of her way to help her customers. It's the person behind the business that counts and Sarah cares...that's all you need to know

Modish is my favourite shoe shop, and pretty much the only place I go to look for shoes. Sarah and her team are immensely knowledgeable and helpful. The only reason I don't go there more is because I always end up leaving with more lovely shoes! I couldn't recommend it more!

How did I not discover this place before?? Thank you Google reviewers - because of your reviews I stepped into the shop and I'm so glad I did because I finally found 2 pairs of boots (after not buying boots since 2011) that fit so lovingly around my feet. I'm usually not a sucker for shoes as I hate breaking them in but Sarah was super attentive and gave brilliant recommendations; now my feet feel comfy AND look like they're encased in royalty.

Why would you go anywhere else to buy your shoes, especially if you hate shoe shopping like i do. Personalised service, an owner who remembers your likes and dislikes and pulls shoes from her stock you would never have tried on, and you end up buying. Recommend 200% Its well worth a trip to Cambridge.
