Mundo Maya International Airport

Great little airport. Each time we were here there were very few lines and were quickly brought through the check in process and security. There is a small cafe both before and after security. We found the prices and selection better actually after security. Great little Cafe, nice seating area as well. Free wifi with pretty good speed compared to some airports. Maybe a little chilly, we would recommend bringing a sweater. Very kind staff, easily accessible by water taxi with a short connection if you are staying on the lake. Also seemed like there were a good selection of drivers waiting when we landed here if you needed a ride.

Small airport, but it's perfect to fly between Guatemala City and Flores to visit Tikal. Has clean bathrooms and comfortable waiting area. Staff was also friendly and spoke some English. If you're visiting Tikal and the surrounding Maya sites, it's definitely worth it to fly here and start your journey from Flores. There are several flights throughout the day, and I could plan easily to catch my international flight from Guatemala City.

A small functional airport, perfect for Flores and Tikal. From the airplane to luggage to out in a taxi is around 20 mins, everything goes fast. On the return, check in, security, and seating is a breeze. They have two small kiosks for scancks and drinks at check-in and the boarding area. Nothing major to eat, but will do in a pinch. The staff all over the airport were polite and friendly (though most only speak Spanish).

Mundo Maya international airport is located in Flores, Guatemala, we arrive here to go to Parque Nacional Tikal, very affordable prices i paid 100 dollars round trip from Guatemala to Flores is one hour trip they have busses too is more complicated is a 10 hours ride and the price is 45 dollars one way.

It's a small airport. Very easy to get to your plane. No need to arrive 2 hours early. 45 minutes is just fine. I like smaller airports. You will have to walk outside to get to the airplane. My experience was pleasant.

I miss airports that are this easy. Generally low traffic and helpful people. Walk into the main doors to pick up your ticket. You will need to pay the airport tax at the booth, then you can walk through screening and into the lobby.

Great service, totally efficient, easy. Bathrooms were clean. Note: the one store was closed when we were there. Don't count on getting anything. Bring Q20/person for exit fee.

Small airport with very friendly staff. It isn't the airport's fault, but TAG airlines cancels and moves tons of flights, so please be ready and buy directly with the airline so you can avoid problems.

Really nice airport. I say this because it was larger than I expected - spacious would be the word. And as a spacious airport, the lines were short. The airport has plenty of room to feel relaxed and easy going.

This is a place near to Flores Petén, it is a incredible idea so tourist can arrive by plane because arrive by car can take to much time, to Guatemala City to Petén in car you spend arround 9 hours but if you travel by plane you will spend only 45 minutes, so it is a great option so you can have more time to stay in Petén, and in this airport, you can visit Tikal, the mayan world so fast, it will take 45 minutes in car to arrive to Tikal, hoppe tou travel and visit this fantastic place soon. È un piccolo aeroporto, pulitissimo e tranquillo con tutti i servizi indispensabili. Collega principalmente Guatemala City con il distretto di Peten dove si trova lo splendido e interessantissimo sito Maya di Tikal con 3/4 voli al giorno Consigliatissimo.

Inlandsflughafen sehr überschaubar.
Es dürfen keine Früchte importiert werden. Personal sehr freundlich.
