Hotel Astarea

There are many things I can say about this Hotel and there’s only one thing that I would change about it. The staff are understanding and have always been happy to help, The Breakfast is great and so are the varieties of foods, the pool is a nice place to sit down and relax and cool off and there are so many great features to name. The one thing I would change is the rooms having a ceiling fan rather than the Air Con but other than that, this is definitely a 5 star

Just returned home after a fantastic week in this lovely hotel. The staff where amazing so professional and happy to help in every way we found it to be very clean towels change daily and bedding changed mid week. Thank you for making our holiday so special Vince & Angela

The employees are fantastic, very friendly and helpful. The hotel is right on the beach. There is free parking that you must pass through a gated area to get to-very secure. They also offer shuttle services in the lobby. The rooms are a little small but very nice, you have a small fridge. The housekeeping was great. The front desk was very nice and extremely helpful. Their sister hotel is right down the beach, and there are a couple of restaurants around it. The swimmable beach is great with chairs you can rent, the hotel also offers you separate towels to use on the beach which was very helpful. A very nice gift shop in the hotel as well, very convenient for stuff we forgot. Hotel is 18 minutes from Dubrovnik and 12 from the airport, but no plane noises. We would book here again if we ever come back to the Dubrovnik area.

A lovely hotel in a perfect location to easily visit Dubrovnik or Cavtat. The room was very clean with towels changed daily plus towels for the swimming pool. The staff were friendly and the food good. The outside pool had plenty sun loungers and umbrellas but we never noticed the pool being cleaned of debri.
A pleasant coastal walk to the next town.

We really enjoyed our stay here, the staff looked after us so well. Unfortunately I broke my ankle whilst visiting Mostar but the staff could not have been more helpful - Ivor on reception providing me with crutches and bandages, helping us into lifts and directing us through the accessible routes to the coast. The manager in the restaurant at breakfast was a lovely lady who checked in with me every day to see how I was as well. A huge thank you to the Jet2 rep Paula who arranged a wheelchair to help me get around easier and went out of her way to make our holiday great, despite our circumstances. Forever grateful for the kindness of this hotel

Fabulous hotel....super clean throughout, good food, great beach location. Far enough out of dubrovnik to make it affordable.

We stayed for the first time at this hotel in august 2021. And we loved it so much that we came back in 2022. And we are coming again in 2023:)) our family and friends also visited Astarea after our recommendation and they loved it too. The hotel has perfect location. Surrounded by amazing nature. The room view is beautiful to Adriatic sea. Rooms and the whole hotel is spotless clean. The beach is in front of hotel. The food is just perfect!!! Every day different kind of meats, fish, vegetables, fruit. Everything tastes perfect. We have never experienced luke warm food like some people here say. All food was always fresh and perfect temperature. Also, for those who complain about that you have to pay for your drinks at dinner: this is Half Board hotel. At each HB hotel drinks are not free!!! Remember that. Only in All In hotels drinks are included.
The employees are the most kind and polite people. We love this hotel and recommend to everyone.

Stayed here in September 2022 and absolutely loved it. Nice hotel with good rooms, a nice view off the balcony, a lovely pool and sunbathing area and nice little beach. They offered a pretty good breakfast and the hotel was nearby to some amazing little restaurants.

This hotel is great value for money within a great location too. Just a short drive to Dubrovnik or Cavtat with the hotel offering a taxi transfer service to either. The rooms are a bit dated and basic but it has all you need.
At the beach bar there is live music played each night which was a great touch.
I have to mention the staff, every single staff member I spoke with were very friendly, chatty and provided an excellent level of service. I highly recommend a stay here.

I first visited this hotel/area of dubrovnik in 2019 and was excited to return, I had an amazing time once again, the staff are great. I did half board, enjoyed bacon eggs and apple juice each morning and for supper there was always a good variety of dishes to try. Beach is right outside, nice little area with good places to eat and drink. Shuttle to the old town is only seven euros, you get dropped off at Ploce gate, just on your left you will find Perla Adriatica, you have to book the day trips to Bosnia (kravice waterfalls and Mostar old town) and Montenegro (Perast and Kotor) ask for your driver to be Stefan you will not be disappointed 😉

Just had a week at Hotel Astarea, rooms are basic but have everything you need.
Room was cleaned every day, and clean towels and beds changed every day. We only stayed bed and breakfast, but there was a very good choice of foods for breakfast .
All the staff were friendly and very helpful, a small shop downstairs was handy, selling essentials and souvenirs.
We enjoyed our stay and would definitely go again.

Great hotel at Mlini, a short boat ride from Dubrovnik. The pool and beach areas are great, nice and relaxing and with access to the beach bar/restaurant. Lovely little bar in the village of Mlini and just a short stroll over to the next little village. Recommend for a relaxing time away.

I absolutely love this hotel.
It's beautiful, clean and tidy. Staff cannot do enough for you.

The pool is well presented, clean with ample sun beds.

The prices for food and drinks are a little steep. We found that if you walk to the shop you can get beer and snacks for a cheap price. 15 mins walk away is a supermarket! There is also a small shop just off the hotel complex which is great.

We will most definitely be going back.

Very clean and nice room. Delicious breakfast buffe and beautiful surounding at the sea promenade. Cannot understand why the hotel hasnt got four stars. Love it and the surrounding.

I highly recommended Astarea Hotel. It was well spent 10 days. Staff was brillant, receptionists were very friendly also restaurant service were nice.
Hotel was clean, rooms were cleaned every day. Internet connection was good, but it didn’t work on swimming pool. When swimming pool started at 8am beds were reserved by towels.

Very friendly and help staff. The room was clean, comfortable, air conditioning available but we prefered a natural breeze from the balcony. We loved the view and the shower was particularly pleasant. Breakfast and dinner buffets were varied and included lots of fresh fruit and vegetables. Good facilities all round, we are already planning to come back next year!
