Rooms S&I Korana

Excellent place next to the river. A little steep drive down but no problem for normal cars, maybe not good for a campervan. Very nice couple running the place and cooking Croatian food for the guests if asked for. The lady speaks native German. A bit too far from Plitwitza but definitely worth the drive.

Absolutely amazing. The hosts are very nice, kind and warmhearted. The cottage is beautiful as well is the river and the surrounding landscape. They also cook very well. We will definitely come back again. Thank you! 🥰

From the moment I arrived at Rooms S&I, I felt as if I had stepped into a world of genuine hospitality and warmth. Ivica, with his cheerful demeanor, often offered a taste of the free spirit "šljivovica," providing a flavorful introduction to the local customs. But that's not where Ivica's talents end – his mastery in preparing local specialities, especially the tantalizing peka and kotlovina, is truly commendable.

Snježana's welcoming nature is unparalleled, and her breakfasts? Simply divine! Every morning, I was treated to an array of homemade delicacies. From salami, ham, and slanina to the sweetest of jams – everything was fresh and delectably prepared.

And speaking of freshness, witnessing Ivica's dedication to quality is an experience in itself. Waking up at the crack of dawn, he ventures into the forest to gather "Vrganji" fungi, ensuring that guests can savor these fresh treasures straight from nature.

The cherry on top is undoubtedly the location. Nestled right next to the serene River Korana, the ambiance here is a blend of nature's beauty and the comforts of home.

Perhaps what makes Rooms S&I so special is the deep sense of connection you feel. It’s as if you're visiting old friends, even if it's your first time. It genuinely feels like we've known Ivica and Snježana for many, many years.

Little dusty road from the Highway but worth the visit! Cozy contry style family house and apartement. Staff is friendly and kind!!! Rooms are clean and tidy! Food was very good! We"ll come back here for sure!!!

Incredible fairytale home where you might stay for the night and return for a month.
Warm welcome, traditional barbecue, and swimming in the river :) what more can you ask for… perfect unplugged vacation.

Wonderful nature, great hosts, rooms are very clean, only sounds that you can hear is from Korana river… vidimo se opet ubrzo!

Prekrasno mjesto, lijepo sređeno, raj zemaljski, za svaku pohvalu

Vrhunski doživljaj , domaćini vrhunski . Svaka preporuka za odmor tijela i duše .

Przepiękne, urokliwe miejsce nad sama rzeką.Bardzo mili i pomocni i gospodarze. Po 12 godzinach drogi przywitali nas zimnym napojem %. Nocujemy w starym ale odrestaurowanym drewnianym domu gdzie otaczają na meble z poprzedniego wieku a może jeszcze starsze. Polecam zjeść tutaj posiłki gotowane przez gospodarzy - pyszne!

Odličan smjestaj ugođaj i ambijent. Domaćini srdačni i ljubazni, stalno na usluzi. Mjesto za odmor duše i tjela.
Svakako preporučujemo.

Zaista sam uvjerena da u Hrvatskoj ne postoji ljepše mjesto za godišnji odmor nego ovdje.
Od domaćina, prirode koja je nestvarno lijepa i oduzima dah , do šarolikih gostiju iz cijelog svijeta koji dodatno uljepšaju Vaš odmor .

Tko uspije naći ovo mjesto, oduševit će se. Terasa iznad male sedrene barijere na Korani. Idealno za kupanje, kajak i uživanje u prirodi, a kad se od svega toga umoriš, tu su ljubazni, druželjubivi ali nenametljivi domaćini, nose jednostavno a pažljivo pripremljenu hranu. Janjetina i teletinu s krumpirom i povrćem ispod peke, to sam probao i bilo je izvrsno. Velika kuća od kamena i hrastovine, uređena je s pažnjom i koliko je moguće u skladu s okruženjem. Nisam bio u sobama jer nisam tamo prespavao, ali kuća je prostrana, čista pa vjerujem da su takvi i apartmani.

Evo, bilo nam je prekrasno, mir, tišina i žubor Korane.prekrasno mirno mjesto za one koji žele odmoriti mozak od užurbane današnjice.sve je čisto i udobno.sve po dogovoru sa domaćinima koji su jako ljubazni, susretljivi i dobri. Jelo je jako ukusno i sve je domaće. Pozdrav od nas 🥰

Wir waren sehr überrascht, an welch einem schönen Ort wir herausgekommen sind (das denkt man nicht, wenn man den langen Feldweg lang fährt).
Die Gastgeber sind sehr herzlich und haben uns gleich willkommen geheißen. Es gab leckeren Gulasch und Getränke. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet. Das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet. Der Käse, Schinken und die Marmelade waren selbst gemacht. Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Dieses schöne Fleckchen muss man mal besucht haben.

Traumhafte Lage mitten in der Natur. Direkt am Gewässer mit kleinem Wasserfall und Bademöglichkeiten. Wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und großzügig verköstigt. Waren auf der Durchreise aber sind dann direkt zwei Nächte geblieben. Absolute Empfehlung!
