Apartments & Konoba Lampalo

Outstanding location in the beautiful little village of Okuklje in a comfortable spacious apartment with a stunning view.
The hosts were wonderful accommodating our dietary needs at breakfast and for dinner of traditional Croatian food cooked in the outdoor wood oven and providing desperately needed laundry service. The generous fresh home cooked cake, different every day was a real treat.
Has to be our favourite stay in all of our 2 weeks of our Croatian holiday!

I have nothing but praise to give this place.

For the hotel part, I don’t think I’ve ever met a more hospitable host before. We were received with a drink and crepe, and the host explained all the things we could do in the island. Finally, the rooms views were stunning.

Both days we stayed there the host offered to prepare us dinner, with some fish options, pork and chicken. We had fish, calamari, chicken and the pork, it was all really good and enjoyable, all with a fries and vegetables serving.

I would recommend this Konoba over and over again. We came with a yacht seeking for a spot to have a calm night (SE - jugo wind blowing strong). This place did not only offer an outstanding protection from the rough sea and wind, but also surpassed all of our expectations.

Nice bay, great hosts, delicious food and even welcome cake upon arrival and also for breakfast when leaving in the morning!! I cannot thank them enough for their hospitality. I'll repeat the experience next time I'll sail around Mljet. Thanks for everything!!

Great experience - dock for two boats with power and 100l water, and hosts welcoming you with fresh homemade cake on arrival. We ordered some meat and grilled fish, the portions were generous, and everything was fresh and delicious. Highly recommended to visit and dock for the night on your way from/to Dubrovnik!

This is absolutely amazing place. The best food we enjoyed during our 1 week cruise. There are few moorings at the restaurant, all dishes reasonable priced and super tasty. I recommend also short walk to the church on the hill.

We spent 3 night there and those were the best during our visit in Croatia. We arrived in the evening and asked where to buy bread in the morning. We immediatelly received fresh home-made bread (still hot!). The owners are welcoming and hearthwarming.

Every morning we received home-made cake, really delicious!

For dinner we ordered fish. Damn, so good! The photos can tell.

For next dinner we ordered pork and we barelly manage to eat it. So delicious and huge portion!

The apartment was clean and nice. Beautiful view of the bay. Very reasonable prices though!

Jele and Petar are really good hosts. They provide all kinds of help and treats to their guests. Incredibly clean and comfortable house, perfect view. Foods are very good and fresh. We had a very enjoyable 6 days. It is a hotel that we will definitely want to stay in again. Thank you very much.

I came to Konoba Lampalo with two of my friends and we shared octopus salad, grilled squid and shrimp. We also got fries and greens on the side as well. Portions were huge and everything was homemade and just delicious. In the end, they brought as homemade cakes and pear liquer. We definitely recommend Lampalo and can’t wait to come back.

Delicious food, beautiful view, such friendly staff. Greeted our boat at the dock with pancakes and cakes. So kind! Loved the experience here, thank you so much!

This place is run by a great family. Very kind, open and helpful ppl. I was here with my 5 friends while yachting. They offer free mooring, electricity and some water only if you will eat at their restaurant. You need to try their homemade bread and fresh fishes! Dziękujemy! Hvala!

We had a delicious lunch of sea bass cooked on the grill while we took in the beautiful views. The hosts were incredibly friendly and generous. I would highly recommend stopping here for a meal when visiting Miljet.

Lovely family run konaba. Delicious locally caught seafood grilled in a woodfired oven. Really lovely people and delicious food. Moored the boat for free, with internet and electricity also free.

When you are on Mljet, make sure to eat here! Really tasty and fresh homemade food. The couple who runs the place is really sweet and very caring. My tip: reserve in advance and book the lamb peka. Sooo delicious!

Eating at Lampalo was a recommendation from another local family. After meeting the most friendly owners, I ordered pork on grill. I watched it getting ready while playing with Đuro, the coolest cat on Mljet. The food was absolutely delicious - the meat, home-made bread and chips, the red wine - all just perfect. Came the next evening for fish, and the next one for octopus. Loved it every time. Hvala Vam, Jele & Pero!

I love this place, staying the night and the room is excellent with a Trembo view across the bay. The guys who own it are extremely genuine and welcoming. Unfortunately I didn't eat here but it looks excellent and very authentic, next time I am on Mljet I will though

Amazing people and amazing food. Due to bad weather we had to stay one more day , owner brung us to the boat one cake in the morning and one cake before we took off . Not expensive but worth coming.

Very basic accommodation but the location is just WOW and they owner's are delightful
