Konoba Riva restaurant

I don't want to say that other restaurants like Toch and La Verde are bad, but this one is something special. Nice staff, one of the best meals I've ever eaten. The prices are a bit higher than usual, but it's worth it. Everyone who is in Selce, come here, you won't regret it.

Had an amazing time at this seafood joint! 🦞 The place had a cool seaside vibe, and the clams was to die for—so rich and flavorful! 🌊 The staff knew their stuff and guided us to some fantastic choices. Prices are more than fair and the quality of the dish and the dining experience is unmatched! Perfect spot for seafood lovers who want a classy seafront dining experience. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We really enjoyed our meal at this restaurant. The meat patty stuffed with cheese was very tasty, nice salad and Swiss chard. The fried calamari was delicious, light & crispy. The waiter spoke very good English and German and was kind and friendly. Service was fast. The view is beautiful, right on the sea. (The bathroom was spotless. Always a good sign.) Highly recommend!

The restaurant Konoba Riva is one of my favorite in Selce. Very nice place near to sea with beautiful Seaview especially during dinner. All the time I picked the fish meals from the menu and it was delicious. I can absolutely recommend. The restaurant staff were helpful and polite. Thanks and see you soon.

Perfect view on the sea

A bit hidden away little gem of a restaurant. Straigh away, it sets 'traditional' atmosphere by visual impression. Menu boasts large variety of traditional fish and meat meals. I can vouch for grilled Tuna steak prepared from locally caught fish, but other meals look well presented on the menu. Just bring cash: they don't have credit card facility

We chose this restaurant for our fish dinner during our vacation in Selce. We did not regret it, we made a good choice. Cozy restaurant next to the harbor with a fine seafood offer and kind hospitality staff.

Our choice was the red beauty (scorpionfish/škarpina) and it was a very tasty, juicy one, well prepared and highly recommended dinner.
(Another one is Gilt-Head Bream i.e. Orada/Orata.)

The uglier the finer!

The food was excellent. The prices are just fine, nothing excessive. There were 6 of us and we took different dishes to share. The fried calamari were great, as were the ones stuffed with prawns. Squid stuffed with cheese and prosciutto didn't impress me, because unfortunately you can't taste the squid, but part of the company was delighted. The sea bass was very nice, well prepared. We also tried a dish that is their specialty, I would say. Some kind of breaded sardines. Very nice, unusual, innovative, maybe a little too much garlic. The breaded shrimp tails were superb. Other times, she would just order them in huge quantities. The side dishes were good, baked potatoes (unfortunately purchased pommes), Swiss chard, grilled vegetables. Everything is well seasoned, fresh, full of flavor and the smell of the sea. Fish and seafood are definitely local and not something imported. The wines offered to us were good. It's a pity that the building has not been edited for a long time, so it looks a bit neglected in some parts. I'm sorry we didn't take pictures of the food, but we were too hungry.

Went to konoba Riva for dinner and had seafood, some good local wine and of course slivovice. Portions are big and very reasonable priced. Our neighbor table with four people had a mixed grill and it looked delicious. A big plus is that the place is very dog friendly.

Beautiful experience in this beautiful restorant. Food was excellent and the stuff was very good and polite. Prise was really good also they have beautiful terrace who have look on the sea. Inside of restaurant is really beautiful and old and the atmosphere is great and we will come here next year that's for sure.

Very nice restuarant with great service and and good food. Right on the marina next to the boats, good view of the sea, a bit sunny at sunset. I had grilled prawns and they were good, my son had calamari and he loved it the fish was also good the deep fried potato was very tasty. Bring cash no credit card facility.

Best place to eat in Selce and I've tried almost all. Food is fresh, waiters open to any demands (for example for the lunch menu I wanted beef soup instead of fish and french fries inatead of spinach). Plus my almost 2 years old daughter was very atrached to one of the waiters who was laughing and playing with her. Highly recommend.

We had a dinner at Konoba Riva on a stormy evening. The dinner was excellent, and the waiter did everything to solve the problems caused by the rain.
