Konoba Barba

The food was great - fresh seafood, tasty meals, portions were big and the prices were affordable.
The service was also amazing - friendly staff and quick service.
I have updated the pin on the map to ensure accuracy of location. For reference (coming from the main walkway), this is off a street near a souvenir shop and not the street where the restaurant with hanging colorful chairs on the wall are.

I was positively surprised by the tuna carpaccio. It had a local twist and was made of high quality ingredients.

Nice old school konoba with a very good service. They have their own fishing manufacture so you can be sure their fish and sea food is super fresh. Plus it's served with organic veggies. We had fish platter for 2 (three kinds of fish, shrimps, calamari, mussels and potatoes with spinach) and I must say the portion would be just OK for 3 people as well. Beer from tap was delicious and cooling.

Cozy konoba with good wine and very good fish and seafood dishes. The peka is also one of the best in Biograd. Ask for something special one day ahead and you will get it. Highly recommended.

A very pleasant place for a joint dinner. The tavern is noisier, but has a great atmosphere. The food was good and worth the price. Tavern with typical Mediterranean cuisine.

I have to admit I am a bit reluctant to post this, because Konoba Barba is simply the best restaurant in Biograd (and I've tried quite some of the others) - it's mostly full already (make sure to reserve a table!) Probably the best thing you can say about the restaurant is, that it's usually quite full of locals. You definitely should try the "octopus under the hood" (also order this ahead, it takes a few hours to prepare).

Cool place with unique local vibe, a lot of fresh sea food offers. I have very delicious salata od hobotnica and Dalmacia prsut, both delicious. Their staff was also very entertaining :) just make sure you have enough cash, because they don't accept cards.
