Plitvice lakes Etno garden

Great location at the best entrance of the lake, low crowds and peripheral hike for views of the big falls. Comfortable beds by the AC wasn’t working very well so had to sleep with the window open. Breakfast was good as well as dinner, both very tasty with good service.

We only had dinner here, which was the best idea. The food was amazing. We even got a nice taste of the Croatian rakija, the server was kind eniugh to bring us one round. It was not complementary though, as he mentioned first, but that's completely fine, as the atmosphere and the food was very good. Unfortunately the card payment was not available, which made things a little difficult, but we managed.

What a find! This is in the perfect location for exploring the National park as it’s less than a ten minute walk to an entrance. The staff tell you at check in how best to navigate the park which is appreciated. They even offer pack ups of food for you to take with you. The room was cosy and the staff were all soo lovely!

Awesome hotel with a classic touch. Located inside a nice forest in Plitvice. Good place for a short stays. Nice and friendly staff. Very beautiful with the peacefulness of the forest and nature. They also serve quality and delicious meals and breakfast. Must come back to stay.

Got the impression the location was significantly quieter e.g more relaxing than the busier side of the lake that is full of hotels, just a short walk to the lakes location was perfect.

The service was accommodating and went above and beyond, the food offered a local touch with a very unique and amazing atmosphere at dinner times 10/10

Had a lovely winter stay. Room and bathroom was clean and modern, included fridge in the room and plenty of hot water. Very short walk to National Park entrance. Used the sauna. Ate at the restaurant of an evening, food was good. Host was very friendly and approachable, always happy to assist and help. Would stay again.

I'd give the location about 17 stars if I could. Food is great, staff is excellent.

We stayed two nights here to visit the Plitvice National Park. From here it’s a short walk to the park entrance. Parking is free. Breakfast is included and delicious! There is a lovely restaurant onsite, with an extensive wine selection. The staff are accommodating and knowledgeable. Highly recommend!

Prefect dinner and friendly staff excellent, comfortable room , excellent food service prefect location close to the national park

We stayed here for two nights during our visit to the Plitvice Lakes National Park. The rooms were newly refurbished and very nice and practical. The staff was exceptionally friendly. The restaurant had great local food. We recommend the trout, the chicken, the venison goulash and for the kids the spaghetti with meatballs. The homemade soup was a feast every day.

We strongly recommend this place for your visit and hope that they will survive the Corona crisis, so that we can come back in a few years!

By far the best place I have stayed in all of Croatia. Why? It is serene private set of guest houses that are historically landmarked. You receive a warm and authentic experience. The food is locally sourced and fresh daily. Some of the best eggs, meats, and cheeses. You'll get to try some fantastic Croatian dishes for dinner or for breakfast. And you will never go hungry. The room is large and cozy. I cannot wait to go back.

Beautiful apartments and rooms with the friendliest of staff, a mighty decent restaurant and all within a short walk of Plitvices Lake entrance 3. When I say the friendliest of staff, I truly mean it! Everyone that worked there was beyond helpful and made our stay as pleasant as possible. Don't miss the killer view of the lakes themselves from directly next to the Etno Garden restaurant's outdoor seating area! If we are ever lucky enough to visit this area again, we know where we will stay!!

Beautiful place with delicious food and amazing service. Had dinner in outside restaurant. We were pleasantly surprised with warm cheese strudel and lamb with green pesto. Nice wine choice. Staff was friendly and helpful but professional. Stunning views and close to national park.

If you are visiting the area this is THE place to stay. We extended our stay an extra night while here just because of how great it is. Great rooms, clean and updated, wonderful location. We spent two weeks visiting Italy and Croatia and the dinner was probably the best meal we had during our trip. It tastes so fresh, I’ve never quite had anything like it. And the service was out of this world. It appeared there were three main employees that did everything from check in to serving us meals that live on the grounds and are there for you at any time (they provide their cell numbers in case they weren’t at the front desk and always answered). The gentleman we dealt with most of the time is named Tin - I can’t express our gratitude for his hospitality and friendliness enough. It can sometimes be tough traveling in a country other than your home country and he made us feel right at home. Thank you Tin!!

We travelled as 2 families with kids and this was a perfect hotel for visiting the Plitvice park. The park entrance is within walking distance. They have a great dinner grill option on site that served an excellent meal at night. Clean and spacious rooms!

Great location. Excellent staff. They arrange everything you need for your stay., near to P3 point of Plitvice national park. 14 km away from Entrance 1. Taxi takes around 150 Kaduna.

Great big room with an amazing surrounding. Perfect place to relax in the middle of plitvice. Equipped with all amenities you could need. Food is very tasty. Great value for money. Trout for dinner was excellent, cakes too. Homemade and fresh.

Great menu. Best service we experienced in the Plitvice region. We would definitely go again. Highly recommend. We went in the evening, and sat inside where it was comfortable, not sure why everyone else sat outside in the cold!
