Bock Hotel Ermitage

We were on a wine tour in Hungary and stopped by for 2 nights in the Hotel. The check-in was smooth, the room was spacious and had A/C, the bed was comfortable. The tasting and cellar tour both were brilliant (special thanks to Móni and Peti) They ensured that we have an informative and fun experience. The wellness area is also great. As well as the wine!

The first night the dinner was adequate but was not extraordinary. We have had some noise complaints because of an ongoing karaoke party, but the employees quickly reacted and resolved the issue.

We will definitely return!

Great place, very good service. The resataurant and the breakfast was great as well, especially enjoyed that they have solution to drink "froccs" at the spa from plastic equipment. Maybe a little bit more expensive than other places, but it totally worth it

Wine and dine place to visit. If you’re a wine lover this is the must. Several tasting options. Devoted staff. Nice ambiance and always interesting people from around the world to meet. Food offer complements the wine. There are more similar cellars around.

We had a nice evening dinner with a tour through the wine cellar. The team was amazing and we enjoyed the evening.

Excellent place to stay for a weekend or even longer time periods. The staff is more than professional, they are welcoming and the whole place has an absolutely friendly/family wibe. Recommend to try the tours around the cellar and if possible a trip to the hills where the "magic happens". Wholeheartedly recommended for everyone - couples, friend groups or families also.

I personaly did not like bock wines but the bv selection was a great suprise the dineing experience was superb would comeback again

This is a very friendly hotel, perfect for a long weekend. We stayed in their guest house down the road, because they ran out of hotel rooms by the time I made the booking. But it was equally perfect and we had the whole house for just the family.
Naturally, the main attraction in the hotel is the wine. You can book a wine tasting in the restaurant (highly recommended) and you can visit the cellars as well. The restaurant's menu contains delicious dishes, I had the pleasure to try a few of them. Their chocolate cake is amazing, a must try.
There's also wellness and you can book a massage, which is professional and relaxing.
The staff were always smiling and helpful in all of our requests.

My better half and I had a wonderful meal here. Food was excellent and, of course, one has to enjoy at least a couple of wines from the winery. Friendly staff and good service.
Warning: bring mosquito repellent if you wish to enjoy your meal on the terrace (or do what we did and sit inside).

The Bock Hotel and the Bock Winery is a fantastic attraction, especially for tourists who do not know that Hungary produces great wines! Its a lovely small hotel with a very good restaurant. The Winery is truly amazing and the visit is really interesting.

One of the best restaurants I've visited in Hungary. Every dish is delicious, made with local and seasonal ingredients (and winter is a challenging season in cuisine) and beautifully presented. The wine selection is wide and wpuld surely satisfy anyone. I found the bock and roll (pinot noir - syrah blend) a delight. Even if you only ordered a glass, they leave the wine bottle on your table so you can read labels and get an extra shot if you'd like. The waiter made no effort to speak in English, as my friend speaks hungarian, but I still find it unacceptable for such a restaurant

Professional service food and staff. We stay guest house close to hotel but it was clean comfortable and spacefull.
And off course very good red wine.

Great place to stay, and has one of my favourite restaurants in Hungary. Really good food and of course superb wines at a very reasonable price.

Amazing hospitality. We were given tour of the cellars and then i had 10 wine flight which was great. I would recommend this fabulous place to anybody interested in wine.

Did not stay at the hotel but ate at the restaurant and did wine tasting. Very good food, attentive staff, waiters knowledgeable about wines. Great experience!

Amazing food and wine; the game stew with pasta and also the cabbage roll went perfectly with the wine tasting (6 tastes #2).

I had team building here. Everything was perfect! The food and the wine of course! The hotel room was common which is fit for a four star hotel.

Slightly expensive and some meals are small, but awesome experience and excellent service!

We had lunch here. Great good, service and wine. Had the game stew and tried a variety of their wines. Very impressive.
